Review: Luna Caribbean Restaurant
We stopped in while visiting from out of town after seeing good reviews. Our bill was close to $100 for three entrées: oxtail, curry goat, and jerk chicken.
Unfortunately, the entrées fell short. The oxtail and curry goat were tough and lacked traditional Caribbean seasoning. The jerk chicken was dry and appeared to be sauced afterward; the sauce relied heavily on browning and missed key jerk flavors like pimento and brown sugar.
On a positive note, the rice, plantains, and steamed vegetables were very good.
Based on our visit, the sides were the highlight, but the main dishes lacked authenticity and flavor. It may have been an off day, but there is room for improvement.

I made a catering order for my daughter’s engagement party and I was very satisfied with the food and service I received. The team at Luna had everything prepared on time, and the food was delicious! I would definitely recommend this location for catering and take out. They will see me regularly there now!

Way to expense for tasteless chicken, way too much oil in the chicken. I didn’t enjoy my food. Very disappointing I had ask for stew chicken and it’s practically fried the meat ain’t falling off the bone like how it supposed to be. Never again

Authentic Haitian food, it taste just like home. The staffs Charles, Luna and Beatrice are very friendly. I had ordered tasso cabrit fritay and it came with a delicious sauce on the side. The plantains were crispy outside and soft inside and fresh! The salad was fresh and refreshing. Their pate kodes are a decent size and delicious. Macaroni gratine comes with ground beef inside and is so good. The salad russe is amazing too. I still have a lot to try from that place, there’s so much variety on the menu. I would recommend ❤️

I expected more. Sadly the jerk chicken with the rice and peas and cabbage did not taste as fresh as I thought it should taste. The staff was friendly though. i would give it a 5 out 10 at best.

I was referred to Luna as I was told that they do catering and delivering as well.
Not only they had delivered the food at the agreed time, and the food was delicious.
