Stopped in Wednesday while in town. First time here so I also checked the reviews. I thought why not try. Well, nobody was overly happy but that could be for many reasons. I ordered my favorite , Singapore Mei Fun. I have to say, it was fantastic. I will definitely return here again when in Milford. When I do, I’ll be sure to make them smile like they did for me.

After reading the mixed reviews, we were initially apprehensive about dining here. However, our cravings for Chinese food led us to give it a try regardless as we were only passing through this town tonight. The reviews did prepare us well for what to expect, particularly regarding the customer service. While we did find the service efficient and prompt, I can empathise with the reviewers who felt it lacked ‘warmth and hospitality’. Despite this, our food portions were spot on, the food was flavourful and fresh. We enjoyed our meals and took the time to thank the cooks for our delicious meals.

The best fried rice in the area! The food is consistently very tasty and we have enjoyed all that we have chosen so far. We tried this restaurant after being a little disappointed with those around us here in Milford. Coming from NYC we are used to excellent Chinese food and this restaurant does not disappoint.

I spent $110 on food + buy extra duck sauce which was okay. After I ordered the food, a little lady comes out and says, “no more white rice, plain fried rice okay?” Me, “yes.”
What bothers me is, while waiting for my food to go. A man that preordered his food was waiting there. The girl that works there taking the orders tells the guy waiting on his food that “he preordered” they ran out of white rice. She tried to charge him more money for his food for different rice. It wasn’t his fault they ran out of rice. The girl also got nasty with a couple that was sitting there eating food that they bought from their restaurant. A lady from the couple asked for paper plates for food that they ordered. The girl told them that they didn’t have anymore. I’m thinking to myself, what kind of establishment are they running?! If you don’t want people to sit and eat there, get rid of the tables. If those people don’t come back, I don’t blame them. Lastly, my broccoli wasn’t cooked, which killed my whole chicken and broccoli. Everything else food wise was okay. The girl there though, she didn’t deserve the 20% tip I left her. She was nasty.

Food was good, egg foo yung and the sweet and sour chicken were good and the pork fried rice was very tasty without any sauce at all. There wasnt much to say about the drinks. Typical soda selections but they are served in a can apposed to a cup. They have quite a selection of liquor though.

Where they can improve is to have some music of any kind playing. It was eerily quiet when we sat eating and talking.
Servers could use some training in hospitality and courtesy. They make you feel rushed to order or get out. There is no “hey, is everything good, do you need anything else?” No, just put food infront of you n walk away. Also, no “thank you” on our way out the door.

Overall, this place is better to order from to eat at home. The food is decent. But dont look for a welcoming restaurant experience.

This place should easily be rated more. The bad reviews are just silly, disregard them. This is a great family run business and the food is delicious. Thank you to Ming and everyone who works there. Jesus bless you!

You cannot dine in at this restaurant despite its advertising that you can – you can order takeout and eat it inside the freezing establishment in silence

Not bad. Seems inconsistent. The first time I had their food it was incredibly salty. First time I had the general tso chicken I thought it was really good (albeit a little salty) but the texture, flavor, everything was really nice. The next time I had it, it was just okay. Same for the fried rice, (even saltier though) first time I had it, I thought it was actually kind of impressive for Chinese food in this area, but the next time I had it, it was just okay.

I also felt that the woman I dealt with the one time was extremely pushy. She was rushing me about using the credit card machine because I was taking my time to read what it said (it was not a standard machine that you encounter in most shops.) I understand it’s somewhat of a cultural thing to be direct and short, but it made me not want to go back in case I had to encounter her again. Imagine my relief the second time I ordered and I noticed that she wasn’t there.
