JD & Myers Best Friends, also known as The Magnolia Pub, is a welcoming hometown hub located on Lexington Ave. They are open 3pm-1am every day, with the exception of Sundays when they open at noon for Patriots game watch parties, projecting the game on a 110 inch screen! Sports fans can watch games any day of the week on one of their SIX television screens. During the day, they offer family friendly activities such as arcade games, pool tables, and live music. The bar comes to life in the evenings with events like “Sing it Saturday” Karaoke at 9:00, Trivia Tuesdays at 5:30, and free pool on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

The whole atmosphere of this establishment, was wonderful. We were in salem on a mini-vaca, and wanted some real food(cheeseburgers, cheesesteaks) So we decided to take a trip up the coast, and came across this place. The only part that bothered me, was when we walked in, they felt they had to tell us, that it was just bar food they served. I mean, it was what we wanted, but I wonder how the other tourists acted going in there? They all were so friendly, the staff, and locals that were there. Carried on some decent conversations, and even learned about some sites to go and visit. We will definitely be returning here, when we are back in the are.
