Beloved Lucky’s has been honoring the classic American steakhouse tradition since 2000. Founded in Montecito, California and with locations in Malibu and Soho, Lucky’s is now opening in East Hampton. Formerly the Cove Hollow Tavern, Lucky’s East Hampton maintains the staff and charm of its predecessor.

Finally a traditional NYC steakhouse, with quality meats, well prepared, and all the delicious sides!
The Martinis are prepared table side.
The service was excellent!
The restaurant is not big, and our table for six, was on the smaller size, not enough space for the big plates…..that’s my only complaint

Cozy, elegant, and delicious. Perfect small town east Hampton glam vibes. Unbelievable food, table side drink service and a perfect atmosphere for a quiet date night or an upbeat evening. I will come back here many times again in the future.

Friends and I ate at Lucky’s tonight for the first time since their June opening. Hostess and server were very friendly and the manager (had to ask who he was) popped by our table after the meal to say hello, but all lacked a certain upscale professionalism. Rolls warm and crusty, but herb butter lacked flavor. My friends shared the bone-in rib eye, creamed spinach and braised mushrooms – they RAVED about the steak (no extra sauces), liked the spinach but left the mushrooms untouched. We all agreed my mushroom risotto was completely flavorless. Gigantic warm chocolate cookie on a plate with vanilla ice cream / chocolate syrup in separate containers for dessert tasted fine, but presentation could be improved. Server really messed up our check at the end, but rectified and he apologized. Loved the contemporary decor.

Honestly, such a wonderful experience. The hostess was lovely and the manager was very knowledgeable about steaks. The food was great and everything came out fresh, even the bread. I hope that the detail to service and food remains the same during the peak season. Will return.

Lucky’s Steak House is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in East Hampton. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is excellent from start to finish. I ordered the New York strip and it was cooked perfectly, tender and full of flavor. The appetizers were great too, especially the thick-cut bacon which was a nice surprise. The cocktails were also really well made and added to the overall experience. Whether you’re going for a special occasion or just a nice night out, Lucky’s is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Dining at Lucky’s was a delightful experience, largely thanks to Ariel’s exceptional service. His warm smile and friendly demeanor made us feel like we were having dinner with family. Ariel also offered great local recommendations that enhanced our trip. If you’re in the Hamptons, definitely visit Lucky’s and say hi to Ariel, it was the best dinner we’ve had yet!

Absolutely LOVED the creamed corn. Me and my friend went here last week and the service and food were exceptional. Aidan was extremely friendly and was very knowledgeable about the menu items and drinks as well. I highly recommend the Mr.Lucky cocktail. If you’re in the area, or even if you’re not, definitely come check this restaurant out it will 100% be worth your time.

**Disappointing Experience Due to Reservation Mishandling**
My friends and I had a reservation at Lucky’s, but due to a mistake by the manager (Chris), we were abruptly asked to leave our table. This was incredibly frustrating and embarrassing, especially since we arrived on time and expected a smooth dining experience.
A reservation is supposed to guarantee seating, and the fact that management failed to honor it reflects poorly on the restaurant’s professionalism. Instead of resolving the issue appropriately, we were left without a proper apology or solution.
We won’t be returning, and I’d caution others to double-check their reservations if dining here.

Avoid this place like the plague. Everything was bad from the service to the drinks to the food.
Waited a long time to get drinks despite only three other tables already eating. They brought me corked wine to try that had sediment and was literally visibly gone off.
The fries were limp, under cooked and clearly from a frozen bag. The steak wasn’t cooked to our order. Also the smallest 28oz I’ve ever seen.
The front of house person wouldn’t let us finish one drink outside because she thought we’d steal the wine glass.
The manager was nice and replaced the fries but at that point it was too far gone.
Oh also this was my birthday which they knew about and made no extra efforts.
All around, bad.

I actually DID double check my reservation before arriving and confirmed that it was, in fact, the correct date and time. The manager (Chris) is an upstanding individual and ALWAYS treats me with care and respect. I have never had an experience that wasn’t outstanding. The onion rings and red wine shallot sauce are both excellent.
