Lovely little town bar with good beers on tap! Right next to a local fish market with a great selection of fresh seafood! Bartenders were very nice here and our food was good, we got the Seattle dog (don’t knock it till ya try it!) I fell in love with this cute little town, would definitely come back here again and again!

Driving through and drove past the tavern, did a U-turn and stopped in for some lunch. Great beer and the gyro is amazing. Highly recommend stopping for a sandwich and a cold drink.

Good service and atmosphere. This is a true tavern, beer/wine only. The food is good, not great. Store-bought sides (potato salad/Mac salad etc). The sautéed onions on the hot dog were really good, and the pork in the pulled pork sandwich was good. If the buns had been mayo’d and toasted on the flattop it would have rated another star (raw buns are crumbly).

Friend and I had lunch. Both items were good and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly, which is always a positive. Outdoor seating is nice if you have good weather. Was pleasantly surprised by quaint town feel of Cle Elum.

A wonderful place to visit if you live in – or pass through Cle Elum. Everyone is friendly, they have great food and you can stay warm near one of the many fires out front. Although this little gem of an old school tavern doesn’t serve liquor, it does serve beer, wine, ciders and seltzers. Just don’t mistake that for a fault. This place features many of the local craft beers many other places don’t get to sample. It has been a long time tradition and pride for the owners to have a special selection that really gives you a good sense of the taste and flavor in the area. The taps are changed regularly and you might not get the same thing as you did the day before because they sell trough quick so if you like trying new things and new places, this is the place for you. I felt right at home. It has been open since 1933 and is one of the oldest bars in the area. They do have a TV that plays through the front window and often music out front but the fire runs all day and really makes the atmosphere. I have tried many of the dishes but my favorites are the Tavern dog, the Gyro and the Italian. Everything is delicious and has never taken very long to come out – always nice, hot and fresh. You will most likely run into Colin, Bre, Hannah, Sarah or Niya and they are the sweetest staff you could hope to encounter. Not only do they constantly make trips out to check that everyone is doing well and has everything they need, but consistently refilling the fires and ensuring the atmosphere is a good one. For a small town, this bar has a big personality. I would recommend this place to a friend and I will be returning. 5/5 stars for sure.

Lots of fun! Good people. Current sports events showing on multiple screens but they don’t take over the room. Owner is often on site. Sometimes free drinks if a certain team wins!! Food is good. I recommend Greek salad. It’s so fresh and crispy with cukes and tomatoes and they don’t skimp on the feta. I had the Merlot to drink and can recommend that. They also have nonalcoholic beers but sometimes run out so order early. Often have live music and it’s good. You would be surprised at the quality of the local talent in this area!!! Awesome!

Customer service is top notch! Shannon was friendly, fast and engaging! Even offered to take our pic! Saw this tavern on Evening Magazine, glad we stopped. Played a few brain teaser games & mancala while the group had a few drinks and homemade soup.

It’s a local spot that serves cider and beer. No hard alcohol. Large outdoor patio in front and along sides sides. Cactus are real so no bar seating;)

Good little dive bar, good service, decent beer selection. Only oddball was that I ordered a pretzel with beer cheese and it was 100% nacho cheese sauce.
