The buffet needs a makeover.
Food is subpar. The place looks very old and outdated. Food tastes okayish. I was there around 2pm, It was not very busy. Food selection is not much. All the chicken I ate , everything was very sweet, not sure why pepper chicken was drenched in sugar. I am pretty sure I am not going there again. I have plenty of options for $13.

They have a new chef and new dishes they haven’t had before, I’ve been coming here to satisfy my Chinese buffet cravings for 5 years now since I moved to State College from California, with the new chef and new items I love, I come to College Buffet even more now. I like the addition of of Siu Mai, pork buns,Salt and pepper frog legs, salt and pepper shrimp, along with the main reason I used to come was the salmon but with all of the new dishes I like I have even more reason to coming to College Buffet. The Staff is also very attentive and pleasant, they always remember what drinks I like and I don’t even have to ask them because they automatically get it for me while I browse the Buffet. It has improved alot in the past couple of months.

Having sampled some of the best buffets on the planet, this is a 3/5. My favorite buffets in Miami are a cut above. But if you wish an average meal, then come here. They can improve across the board.

I went here on December and the food was honestly shitty. The best thing there was some sort of cheese oyster and it was almost $20 per person with tax. Most food was lukewarm and I would much rather just have fast food instead. The staff were ok though likely because me and the person I went with were both Asian.

Worst buffet experience ever. Today was our second time going here. 1st time we went almost 2 years ago, my kid was only 7 months old, he cried little bit as it is inherent for a kid like him but the stuff seemed really annoyed by my kid’s crying. Today we went there again, one of the stuffs asked us to sit where other guests were also sitting in other tables. When we asked for a high chair for our kid, another stuff came, seemed quite annoyed and told us to sit somewhere else which was kind of isolated from other guests’ tables. The stuff said, you can’t place high chair here, others can’t walk. But I could easily see there was enough space for walking even after you place a high chair and we try lot of different restaurants now and then and never had any issues with placing a high chair. They didn’t bother taking away the used plates from our table until we finished and it was a pile up of plates. The food is not fresh, does not taste so good, they were not refilling and some of the stuff’s behavior is very rude as I felt.

It’s a good experience to eat here. You can eat all kinds of meat and seafood for just less than twenty dollars, as well as fruits and cakes. My favorite is the ice cream here! I would rather come here than go to McDonald’s. I like it here! I will come back again.

It’s been a while since I’ve actually eaten here. The last few times the buffet was expensive, lukewarm, not fresh, and not even refilled very quickly. I drive past in the parking lot often going to other stores, and the restaurant is so unclean that it’s visible from the outside. Often, the windows become too clouded over to even see through. It’s really a shame that this is now the only Chinese buffet in the area.

Worst Buffet I have ever been to. Food was cold and old on black Friday the busiest day of the year. I can’t imagine what it would be on a normal day. Had to basically scrape the pans to get what old food was what was left in them. I should have known by the drive-by with the dirty windows

I have gone to this restaurant for many years. It use to be my “go-to” Chinese place. We were there at noon on a Friday, home football weekend. There were 3 other parties there. It use to be standing room only at that time.
The quality has declined since the older generation no longer run it and has plummeted since COVID.
I believe today’s visit will be my last. It was terrible. Service was awful and the food had no taste at all.
