Social Profile:

306 BBQ serves authentic slow cooked, pit smoked barbecue. We serve only the highest quality beef, pork and poultry. Everything is smoked low and slow, daily, using hickory wood. We rub our meats with our dry rub prior to cooking. The result is melt in your mouth, authentic (and slightly addictive) Southern style BBQ. No sauce required, but feel free to add our homemade sauces to enhance the flavor. We also complement each of our meat selections with a choice of delicious homemade sides which are prepared fresh, in our kitchen, each day. Founded in 2011, 306 BBQ is a family owned and operated restaurant and catering business.

First time ordering, they forgot our drinks. And the fries they gave us was limp and old. The meat was amazingly good. Wings were great. Ghost pepper , not as hot as what I really expected but they were good just no heat. Wings were big, juicy and delicious. Okay the chicken tenders were nasty y’all. Burnt, dried out and not edible 🙁 Also it was suppose to be pulled pork sandwich with slaw on the side. Kinda forgot that. Over $80. And they do ask for a tip at the register even on take out.

I should have known not to trust a place that has a sign on the window that says once you drive off and find something missing from your meal, they won’t fix it.

Finally got the ribs. Been up there a few times to get the ribs and been told we are out of ribs. You know that feeling been waiting all day to get that special food and then told we don’t have any. Well the taste buds just melt away. Today they came thru.

Been here several times this month and was disappointed with the food. Got catfish once and the fish and hushpuppies were burnt. Another time the ribs were too greasy. I loved the slaw dogs. I haven’t had these problems at other 306’s I’ve eaten at. I think it’s lack of experience for these younger employees and maybe need of training.

A friend and I went today and ordered to go meals via the drive thru. One combo plate(ribs/turkey). The ribs were overcooked past the point of being jerky (not edible) and the turkey was extremely dry. A pork potato that was not completely cooked and still hard. The only food that was ok was her daughter’s ham kid’s meal. Basically $45 down the drain.

I would rate it 2 stars, but in retrospect, the food was not to my liking The order-taker/ cashier/ server (yeah she did all 3 tasks, ’cause there was nobody else there but employees) was a dim bulb. She checked the boxes: pretty, young, white, plump, and dumb. She didn’t know how to operate the “cash register” which, like McDs, had a button for every menu item. Duhhhhh…. Ribs should taste like smoked meat, not chemically modified spice concentrates. I am a chef and member of the Research Chefs Assn, so I know what happened: Mr. B B B B black cook didn’t follow the recipe. He be black an’ coo’ & gots a monopoly on wisdom. And they were SHORT RIBS with hardly any meat on them. Oooooo, Mmmmmm, chemically modified pig bones!!! My dog liked them when we got home, but he eats long dead deer, so….. But Hey! the potato salad was good, although heavy on the mayo. The other sides, meh, over-spiced with chemicals from your corrupt friends at the FDA. Not to mention the whole meal for two was $45, yeah overpriced by any measure.

I had the loaded nachos, about the size of a small pizza . Cost was $10.99 plus the cost of a drink. I had a sweet tea which was $2.39 for 20 ounce foam cup. The employees was nice but could be over heard talking about other customers before me and how rude they were. Those conversations should not be had at the front counter if they must be had at all. The music on the speakers in restaurant was 70s and 80s rock music.

Our food was delicious I had the brisket my husband had a pulled pork sandwich are sides where squash casserole, fries and dessert, banana pudding. The manager expediting to the kitchen did a great job. It was a busy Sunday. We where just passing through town, we will stop again.

This was terrible. Got wings and 1/4 chicken dinner. The chicken was warmed up, dry and old. No way it was fresh today. The slaw was not worth having also. The only thing decent were the tater tots. Left more food than eaten.
