Atmosphere: I had a great experience at Kyuramen in Philly. I loved the interior — the unique wooden tree sculpture really stands out, and the wooden accents throughout the restaurant create a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Food: I ordered the pan-fried dumplings and the beef ramen. The dumplings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The beef ramen was rich and comforting, with a flavorful broth and tender beef that paired well with the noodles. Portions were huge, everything tasted fresh, and overall it’s a solid spot for ramen that I’d definitely come back to.

Service: Service was quick and friendly! I recommend trying this restaurant.

The wooden honeycomb compartments seamlessly blend Japanese minimalism with contemporary design language, creating a dining experience that is both private and full of design flair for diners.

Selected Japanese curry base, slowly simmered to bring out a rich flavor. Special addition of coconut milk to balance the spiciness and make the texture more smooth. Each spoonful is a perfect blend of egg aroma and curry, with a mild and non-irritating golden ratio, especially suitable for children.

The golden egg roll sits neatly on the fried rice. When cut open with a knife, the semi-solid egg flows down, enveloping the distinctively yellow and inviting grains of rice. Drizzle on the original sauce, and can’t wait to scoop up a spoonful. The half-cooked egg is fragrant, smooth and tender, the rice grains are plump and soft, and the crispy and tender fried pork chop, all blend together in such a harmonious and delicious way.

Located in the prime area of the city center, it is right next to the Pennsylvania Convention Center and just a stone’s throw away from Chinatown. No need to make a special trip to Flushing, New York, to satisfy your craving anymore. Authentic Japanese ramen is now available right at your doorstep.

The soul of a good bowl of ramen lies in its broth. Carefully selected 40 pounds of fresh pork bones are simmered over a gentle flame for 18 hours to extract a naturally rich and creamy white stock. The broth is as smooth as silk, with a rich and fragrant taste that lingers on the palate, leaving a lasting impression with every sip.

The dessert and beverage series, including cherry blossom tea jelly, matcha red bean pudding, and matcha tiramisu, are presented in such an exquisite way that it feels like a Michelin-starred experience.

The spicy tonkotsu ramen was delicious. The broth was very rich and flavorful. The gyoza was top tier. The restaurant is beautiful with great photo ops. The star of the show was definitely the passionfruit tea. It was very refreshing and full of fresh fruit.

I went multiple times during my stay. The food is healthy, good quality, and tastes great. I was obsessed with the chili cucumbers. I ate at a couple of okay places in Philly and kept thinking I should have just gone to Kyuramen.

The ramen tasted better than the first visit. However I wasn’t really pleased with them forgetting my birthday boys order. Most of the group finished eating by the time he got his food. He didn’t even get his appetizer until then. Definitely the wrong person to mess up on. I asked twice about his food too. They did give him a birthday treat and I appreciated that though. Price is very expensive for what you get. I still like terakawa better food wise. Chicken Bao bun wasn’t good. Pork Bao bun was ok but it was pork belly only. And it was very fatty. Yakitori platter was really mediocre not worth the price. Overall decent for food but service could’ve been better. Birthday boy didn’t get his food on time. Parking is street metered.

3.5/5 stars

Went with a party of 7, we were in a booth that could hold 8 ppl max. I didnt see a booth any bigger than that.
Solid food, the tonkatsu is a bit bland but the Ramen broth and chase pork is pretty good. Bit pricy, but that’s the usual with these type of places.
I highly recommend the fresh passion fruit tea from their “top 9” list.

What a fun spot! Such a cool atmosphere for a Friday night dinner with friends! Be prepared to wait if you don’t have a reservation but it goes quick and is well worth it! The “amazing lemonade” is just that – not too sweet, like a natural lemonade with refreshing cucumber and maybe a hint of mint. Pork bao buns were fluffy and flavorful. Both ramen bowls were ordered were beyond perfect and so authentic. It tasted like our trip to Tokyo. Service was kind and efficient. Will definitely be back!

Stopped here for lunch while in the city. Very friendly and open atmosphere with unique seating arrangements. Definitely provides a better experience compared to most ramen restaurants.

The service was great, extremely nice and helpful staff.

The food was delicious and served quickly. I ordered the sweet wings, fried dumplings, and chicken ramen bowl. The dumplings were spectacular… chefs kiss. The wings were different. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sauce was good. The ramen bowl was good with tasty broth.

Will definitely come here again.

So authentic! Having visited Japan, this was a very close second to the ramen I’ve had before. Everyone was quick and helpful, and the food was delicious. The interior was so well done, and everything was perfectly clean. The bao buns are a must to try! I didn’t care for the ice cream, but that’s just personal preference. If you’re into ramen, this is a MUST!

Such a fun place with a very cute interior. The vibe is so fun and cutesy and great for photos. But imo the food is a little overrated. It’s good, but I wasn’t impressed or anything. Would I come back again? Probably not.
