Stopped here on recommendation of reviews. I always trust the reviews & never disappointed.
Just traveling through in a RV and needing a great meal. Not disappointed…. ordered the Walleye Dinner. OH boy it was perfect.
The chef & assistants know their trade. A wonderful fillet arrived Hot & delicious. I enjoyed every bite. Yes…I also asked for tater tots which in my world is a perfect meal.
The entire bar area was filled. The servers didn’t miss a beat. Everyone is so well experienced in what is required that its like a symphony in motion. Well done everyone!

We came in today to have a fish fry. On the way in we were able to view 4 deer on our way up to the resturant. We were greeted once inside, and seated quit quickly, although we were early. I’d recommend calling ahead if you have a group larger than 4.
There were 4 of us. We had the Parmesan crusted cod, delicious, jumbo shrimp, very good, the Berry salad with homemade raspberry vinegrette, very good, and a grilled chicken wrap sandwich which was delicious.
The view over the river was nice, the waitressing staff and matra’de were attentive and pleasant. We would return again to try more offerings from the menu. Breakfast is also offered; we will be trying that as well.

Barb & I & 3 of our friends went to the Lantern this morning for breakfast, and it was fantastic! Not only was the food good, the service and the view overlooking the river were also top shelf! We will be going back without a doubt! A big thank you to Misty for making our morning a good one! <3 <3

If you haven’t, give this place a try. We ordered the mac and cheese, penne ala vodka and classic cheeseburger w fries to go. Burger was cooked perfect and love the crinkle cut fries. Mac was fresh and cheesy. The penne was flavorful and came with garlic bread like the mac. Very yummy!

The most incredible and refreshing experience I’ve had in a long time. Service was phenomenal and the food was to die for. The chef made it a point to visit our table. To see the person who’s behind the exquisite cuisines made the experience far more enjoyable and personable. I also want to say Deb was incredible when it came to service. She was very attentive, warm, and friendly. Overall between the amazing food, incredible service, and beautiful scenery stopping at the lantern for a bite to eat will definitely be worth your while. I look forward to stopping by again!

I held my son’s rehearsal dinner here. The food was great atmosphere nice, mainly the service was excellent, especially with other guests in the restaurant and our party was 26 people.
Jamie was my contact person, and always responded promptly was very helpful with the menu and also was one of our servers. I can’t say enough about her. They are lucky to have her as an employee. Thanks again so much Jamie and it was a pleasure to also meet you.
The list of foods does not show everything we had so the only one was the Reuben. Salads, fish fry, steaks and burgers were wonderful as well.

What a great surprise! We ate at the bar on a Wednesday evening. Ambiance in the bar was good. We ordered Chicken Cordon bleu, Fish tacos, and the Brussel sprouts. The food was very delicious, all came out hot and prepared perfectly! The house salad was very nice and the Old fashioned was excellent! We will definitely be back, and are pleased to find a menu in Wisconsin Rapids that has a variety including but also beyond cheese curds and burgers! I also love that they have GF and V noted on the menu. We also had great service.

Went in for fish fry at 7 pm. Only had at most 5 other tables seated. Service was terribly slow, server or kitchen and bar messed up our drink and entree order (but not the other side of our table). Would try again but left mildly disappointed.

Second time there on a Friday. Loved the shrimp special and the potato pancakes were delicious. Husband had the lime butter walleye and said it was very good. Highly recommend

Wasn’t expecting much by the looks of what was on the menu, since it mainly presented fish/tuna in central wi ?!The tuna sandwich was delicious, cooked perfectly and paired well w the pico and avocado. Definitely will be coming back for that! We also got the tuna steak and it was overcooked, sadly. Although 1/7 dishes we ordered did not meet a standard the rest was amazing. We went on a friday evening and the walleye fish fry was delicious. Deb, provided amazing service. Mixed drinks were a hit or miss. Overall, well worth the price for quantity and quality of food. It wasn’t expensive as expected.
