The Foggy Goggle is an absolute must visit if you’re in the area, less for a culinary pilgrimage and more for the quintessential mountain experience it offers. While the food and service were both perfectly fine (good, but not necessarily outstanding), what truly makes this spot a landmark is its unbeatable atmosphere and prime location.
This isn’t just another ski-town eatery; it’s a social hub. The place has a palpable buzz, a well-earned popularity that makes it feel like the heart of the action. Whether you’re sliding off your skis right outside the door for a quick lunch or settling in for a drink, the convenience is unmatched.
The Foggy Goggle embodies that classic, lively ski-lodge vibe. It’s one of those places that’s well-known for a reason, it’s where everyone gathers. If you’re looking for a lively scene, a convenient spot to recharge, and an atmosphere that perfectly captures the spirit of the mountain, you have to stop by. You go for the location and the vibe, and you stay because it simply feels like the right place to be.
Nachos are good and huge!
If you’re looking for a quiet place this is not it
It’s park of the ski resort. The setup is nice with a large outdoor patio overlooking the ski slopes. There is live music at night in the summer.
The food wasn’t good. We got the Pit Pulled Beef Sandwich. The meat was incredible dry and lacked flavor. There wasn’t much sauce or cheese on it. The chips that came with it were good.
The bar setup seemed pretty good. It seems like a good place to come for a drink, but I wouldn’t recommend the food.
I’m giving 3 stars because of pricing and food quality, but as I have found over the years, ski resorts sell a lot of over priced “bar food” but you’re there for the ambience and the slopes. We’ll try Helen’s tomorrow.
Dry, tasteless… one word DISGUSTING!
Only 3 things are worth eating here:
Nachos, MountainChili and French Fries.
All food Very Overpriced for quality!
