Ruby was our waitress. She has been professional and very very kind to us. One of the food we did not know how to eat, but we wanted to try (pancake) and she showed us how to make them properly. We definitely suggest this restaurant also with kids. We’ll come back again! The fruit juice is very fresh!

Great value for money — our bill came to around 1.1 million VND for 6 people (about 200+ THB per person), which is very reasonable.

The food was good overall. The tofu clay pot was especially delicious, and the fresh spring rolls were also very well made. Staff spoke English very well, making it an easy and comfortable experience for tourists.

The vibe is okay — nothing fancy, but pleasant enough for a relaxed meal. The restaurant is located in a street-food area, so after dining here you can also explore many nearby stalls, especially those selling fresh shellfish.

A solid option for travelers looking for good Vietnamese food at a good price.

Their bun Cha is very good. Also their duck with mushrooms.. the service is very good. They ask you if the food is okay and they explain the change and payment to tourist as well. This place has 3 floors and we tried eating at the 3rd floor. Just 5minutes waiting time and you’re ready to eat!

We just had a lovely meal here! A mix of 3 different spring rolls(fried with shrimp and pork, fresh with beef, fresh with pork) and they were all excellent, see picture. Also had a chicken pho soup(pho ga) and grilled chicken with lemon leaves and all was very good too(sorry, no pictures for these ones, we were very hungry:))!) For dessert, we tried a banana chocolate crepe that perfectly finished an excellent meal all in all. And service is fast although it’s very busy!
On top of that, Ruby has been an extremely pleasant, friendly, professional and attentive waitress! And she speaks perfectly English if needed! Thank you for your great work and smile! Cam ơn nhieu!!

Please do not make the mistake of dining here as we did today just by seeing the Google reviews. The Google review of 4.9 stars is a complete scam of sorts, I think the place has such high reviews because they must have some kind of discount on giving good reviews. We ordered a lot of food here today. Thinking atleast one dish will be upto the mark. All the starters as ordered was absolutely pathetic. The dishes which we felt were bad – pork in bamboo, beef in pepper sauce(no taste at all) and chicken with cashews (soggy and not crispy and they served us the wrong dish) . The veg spring roll, shrimp and pork roll and egg fried rice was good. Service was decent however they had forgotten to bring out the beef dish on time and instead of bringing chicken with cashew they got us chicken sweet and sour. Later when we pointed our dish ordered was wrong, they just added a few cashews and got the same thing sour chicken back to us . Prices are exceptionally high and I feel these chain of restaurants are nothing but a tourist scam. I was totally disappointed with this place and I am surprised even how they have managed up get a review on food upto 4.9 stars, to be honest to food can be rated only between 2 to 3 stars at max. The quantity versus the price doesn’t do you justice. Avoid by all means, you will get many authentic Vietnamese restaurants to dine at than this one. Google needs to be really mindful on how some restaurants are rated in Vietnam, as it doesn’t represent the true nature of the service provided. Takes away the belief system we have with Google reviews.

The food was tasty and we got good recommendations from Mit, our server. We ordered chicken with lemongrass that came with a small bowl of rice. The lemongrass flavours stood out just enough to not overwhelm the dish. We also ordered the special 3 kinds of spring rolls. If you are new to Vietnamese spring rolls this is a good dish to order. They give you one type of sauce which detracts a bit from the flavour of the fried rolls which is usually served with a fish sauce base but still tasty. I had a lovely lemongrass and ginger tea and a snack sweet treat they serve after the meal.

We had a fantastic experience at Mẹt Vietnamese Restaurant! We were a large group of 6 and arrived when the restaurant was absolutely packed, but the service was outstanding.

A huge shoutout to Quan. He was incredibly friendly and, together with a female staff, went above and beyond to get us seated, despite how busy it was. He was so patient with us while we navigated the menu and placed a massive order for the whole table. His attitude really started our meal off on the right note.

The food was authentic and delicious, everything came out looking fresh and flavorful.

Based on our dinner, here is what I recommend:

Spring Roll Platter is perfect for sharing. We loved the mix of the fresh summer rolls and the crispy fried spring rolls.

The clay pot dish with lotus root and mushrooms was savory and comforting, and the sweet and sour tofu with pineapple was a hit.

Beef Pho had broth that was clear and traditional, just what you want in Hanoi. But to be honest, another pho nearby is way better if you just want pho. Read my other post.

The restaurant itself has a great vibe with beautiful murals on the wall and warm lighting. If you are looking for good food and even better service, ask for Quan!
Highly recommended!

We had a good dining experience at MET. The staff is very friendly and approachable, with a sense of humour. The menu is complete with pictures and English translation for ordering.

A variety of Vietnamese dishes are offered and the cooking is decent. Serves are generous. Only tried ciders and cola but there is also a range of wines and cocktails available.

Authentic Vietnamese food with great service. The grilled fish is a must-try, and the morning glory is delicious. The drinks are refreshing, and the salad is another excellent choice. The sweet and sour pork is also fantastic, tonight’s meal is fantastic when finished with the banana crepes and pudding for dessert.

Mr. Dat provided exceptional service and even demonstrated how to properly eat the dish for us, which was very helpful as first-timers. Highly recommended!

It pays to read/listen to reviews whenever you visit a new country. I can say that this restaurant is one of the restaurants I enjoyed the most in our stay in Vietnam. The place is a bit cramped and getting our stroller inside was a bit of a challenge. But what they lack in space, they make up in taste and friendliness of the crew. Our waiter patiently answered our questions regarding the menu. Not only that, she also gave a quick demo on how to properly consume the food like locals do. We ordered Spring rolls in three ways, Ha Noi special street food, Sizzling crepe with shrimp and pork, lemongrass tea and Saigon beer. The green veggies were fresh as they can be. I also enjoyed the hot sauce that came with our food. The soup though was a bit bland for my taste. It took me several tries just to neatly roll up the crepe probably because I was trying to pack as much ingredients as I can. The ice cold beer did a good job of capping off our meal. Overall, I highly recommend this place.
