If I could give 10 stars I would, the bbq is that good!! My wife and I were full time RV’ers before settling down here in the RGV. We have had bbq all over the country, from KC, Nashville, NC, SC, and Florida. I can say this without a doubt Ain’t She Grand is my favorite! The brisket was so tender and juicy, the sausage was amazing. The potato salad was the absolute bomb!! Some of the best potato salad I have ever had!! The banana pudding was delicious!!! We got to meet the owner Angela and she is the nicest person you will ever meet and you can tell she loves bbq and feeding people great food!!! She could win bbq contests, we have been to a few of those, her bbq is that good!! Our new favorite place for bbq, I recommend it highly!!

We came to Texas looking for great Barbeque, and find it we did! Ain’t She Grand is the real deal. We ordered a three meat platter with ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. The brisket was nicely seasoned, tasty, and tender. The pulled pork was out of this world! There was so much flavor packed in that it just about explodes in your mouth. The ribs, I am reluctant to. admit, are better than my own! And that is saying something. The proportions were large and the price very reasonable. This is a family business and the owner was so friendly and explained that there are some things that are not on the menu. So if there’s something you’re looking for go ahead and ask. If she can’t find it for you, she’ll suggest something equally good. I was bold enough to ask if I could have a taste of brisket from the point, and the owner cut off a little piece of burnt end for me. Wow! No sugary sauce covered burnt ends that many restaurants serve, just sweet, savory, tender meat that shines all on its own. The sides were delicious too. At the owner’s suggestion we got tortillas rather than bread, and made tacos with meat and Pico. Awesome. This was the real deal and if we go back, I will definitely order burnt ends for my main course and hope that they have them that day. This restaurant is worth going out of your way for. We are glad we did.

We are in the Valley visiting from Ohio. Husband wanted BBQ so I did some Google searching and came upon this place — boy are we glad we did!!
Husband had the two meat plate with ribs and chicken, fries, and Mexican corn. I had the bowl with rice, beans, and chicken.
Both of our meals were outstanding!! We both ate much more than we should have, but the food was so delicious we couldn’t stop ourselves! We ate until we were stuffed, and we still brought home enough food for lunch tomorrow.
Our only disappointment was that they were out of brisket. No worries though, we’ll be back again!!

Nice little gem. The food has good flavor. I had the brisket plate with 2 sides. Brisket was very moist and tender. The bbq sauce was sweet and flavorful. The potatoes salad was very good and the rice ok but just a tad dry. I have to admit that I went to have lunch at 3:30 so that might have something to do with it.
The place was simple and clean. The service was very good with the host constantly coming around to check customers.
A bit above average in price for a plate but the good food makes it worth it. Of course with everything going up it hard to keep prices down.
I wish them good luck and the more people find out about this place they should get busier.

Absolutely fantastic BBQ! Meats are well prepared, cooked appropriately, and the sauces are up to the task as well. Maybe the best green beans you’ll ever have in your life. I know right, green beans?!? Yes, green beans. Just order them and thank me later. The staff seems to really care about making sure you are having a good experience too.

Drove from Edinburg in search of “the best brisket”. I found it!!! Absolutely delectable! Brisket so tasty and moist it soaked the bread thru. Texture was like a cobblestone street perfectly marbled with juiciness. Spare Ribs with an Awesome solid outer layer and amazingly moist on the inside. Two meat combo so filling didn’t even touch the sides and had leftovers to duplicate the experience once again. Encourage anyone in search of a memorable brisket to give them a try. Big Red was the most refreshing I’ve ever had from a fountain…must be the filtered ice?
Owner a pleasure to visit with. May God exalt her efforts to put forth such a delicious meal. Let’s help her keep the food fresh by contributing to a sell out daily. Support local. Avoid the chain restaurants. It’s worth the drive.

Stop what you are doing and make plans to come eat here. My goodness everything was awesome and this may be some of the best sliced brisket I have ever had in my life!! That is no joke and I am from Houston where BBQ is on every corner. The fresh Pico de gallo was outstanding and the beans were as well. They had no pork which is what I like. FIVE STARS!!!

First visit and will definitely return! Our group enjoyed loaded potato’s and a bowl. Everything was delicious! Potato is easily two meals – super generous portions.
The team is very friendly and welcoming. Lots of seating in a small space too!

We tried the brisket, baby back ribs and pulled pork meats. All are outstanding! For sides we had charo beans, Mexican corn and Mac + Cheese. We liked the Mac+ cheese the best. Its a lot for two people to eat. Fun and funky interior. Friendly staff and fellow regular diners. We will be back!
