The service was spectacular from start to finish. Our cocktails were all fresh and clearly handcrafted — we ordered espresso martinis, an Old Fashioned, and their seasonal dessert martini. The espresso martinis, in particular, were strong and delicious.
For an appetizer, we shared the buffalo wings. They were large, juicy, and cooked perfectly, with a crisp outer skin and tender, flavorful meat inside.
Our server was exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu and displayed true fine-dining etiquette. She was patient, never rushed us, and made us feel completely at ease. We had our baby with us, and she promptly brought a highchair when requested and even provided a cup of boiling water so we could prepare a bottle on the fly — a thoughtful touch that did not go unnoticed.
When it came time to order, I chose the scallops, which are served with mashed potatoes and green beans. The green beans included onions and carrots, so she kindly allowed me to substitute a salad, and I requested fries instead of mashed potatoes.
Unfortunately, the fries were extremely salty — to the point that no one at the table could eat them. It was disappointing, especially since they appeared to be hand-cut. The scallops themselves were decent but could have benefited from a longer sear or additional marinade as they were slightly bland.
The rest of our table ordered a mix of dishes, including the 12 oz Delmonico steak, and the ham & cheese sandwich. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, particularly the steaks and sandwich.
Despite a few minor critiques, we would absolutely return and look forward to trying other menu items. The menu offers a wide variety of options, making it exciting to explore different specialties.
Parking is somewhat limited, with approximately 5–6 spots available, but the beautiful mountain views more than make up for it. There was also a wedding taking place during our visit, and we were able to peek into the ballroom — it was beautifully decorated and looked like an excellent event space.
The bathrooms were spotless, and the overall atmosphere was cozy, warm, and inviting. Gloryridge Tavern is a lovely establishment, and we look forward to dining here again.
