The lady who took our order, Heather, was very kind. The manager on duty however was very rude to customers and to her workers. She needs to be spoken to from her boss and realize to never treat her employees like that.

I just had an amazing experience at Firehouse Subs! Deja went above and beyond with her customer service — she was friendly, helpful, and made my visit such a great one. It’s not often you come across someone who genuinely makes your day better, but Deja did exactly that. Thank you for the great food and even better service Deja!

Food was hot and delicious. Service is friendly and they made everything as it was ordered without mistake. I would eat here again BUT……. Owner/Management PLEASE take the tape off your smoke alarm and check the backup battery in your emergency flood lights. Looks like it’s failed and leaking battery acid into/on the wall, which could cause a fire. Just need a little maintenance otherwise good place to eat. Maybe TO GO next time instead?

I love Firehouse ❤️. But this location is the least and I’ve gone on north and south shores. The staff act like they don’t want to be there. We weren’t greeted, no one came to register to take our order for about 5-10 minutes. (Wish I was exaggerating)…. but because we love the sandwiches , we waited. When I got home these were the skimpiest sandwiches I’ve ever had. No other location serves like this. Not sure if they just didn’t order enough or they were told to make it that way. I was extremely disappointed because you pay for a full sandwich. I will drive far away to the next location before I go to this one. I moved close to this one and I miss my old one. The service at all the others is far better.

Reliable sandwich stop in Hammond. Have come here several times – always good. Most recently had the philly steak n cheese. Was tasty. I always feel like the medium is a little small for the money but overall it’s a good lunch and you won’t do much better anywhere else with costs these days.

Okay, so we tried the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich from Firehouse Subs. Let me say that we are fans of most of their subs. However. There is no way that the subs we got this evening were up to their standards. The turkey slices were okay, but the rest was sub par to say the least. Dressing was still in the shape of bread cubes and I believe cranberry may have been applied with an eye dropper. Ordered a side of gravy with each sandwich only to get home and not have that. What is the deal? Not your best effort. Very disappointed.

I love the food but when we got home, we realized they did not give us our loaded potato soup and I tried calling twice, but they did not pick up.

I just left the Firehouse Sub in Hammond Louisiana, and it was completely unorganized, without any leadership from senior employees. When you’re spending so much time trying to train a new employee (who has no idea what anyone is trying to tell her), that orders are backing up, and customers are becoming impatient, something needs to change.

Not at all as great as it was. I dined in and watched as customers came in. You were once greeted with “Welcome to Firehouse Subs”, but not anymore. The workers don’t seem happy to be there and that makes the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable. The sandwiches are ok, but no longer great, something was definitely different because it was just not as good as it once was. The New York steamer has been my favorite from the beginning and that’s what kept me going back, but after this last time, I can take it or leave it. Maybe the owner needs to clean house and find a few better employees who can bring a little sunshine to the customers. Too much of a doom and gloom kind of vibe. Now I know why the majority of the customers placed their order to go. Im no longer in a hurry to go back.

Awesome sandwiches! They actually take pride in making their items! Unlike other places “Subway “…. and they always throw in a pickle you can actually see the meat, and taste the freshness of it and all the other condiments and vegetables.
