We had lunch at the El Palmo. It’s an 80’s Disco Mexican Restaurant ; Not really. The owner was jamming out to some 80s disco that day. Not what you would expect at a Mexican restaurant, but our crew thourghly enjoyed the change of atmosphere that day. The food was great. Bring an appetite if you go there because the servings were more than enough. Our waitress Kayla waa very courteous and accommodating.

The Carne Verde is to die for! Very few Mexican restaurants serve this dish and even fewer do it right. They do it right. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. First time here (we are from Shawnee) but we will definitely be back!

As usual I stopped by this place because it was lunch time and I was hungry. Although not a negative,the place is small with less than 20 tables. I was seated immediately and seated and served the standard chip, salsa and queso but none was anything to brag about. I ordered a Shrimp cocktail, whole grilled jalapeno and a flan for dessert. The shrimp cocktail was delicious paired with the whole grilled jalapeno. The desert Flan was also excellent but a lot on the small side. My only complaint came at checkout with 3.3% plus added for a CC transaction and my lunch total neared $23.00. I would absolutely eat her again but sparingly due to the cost which was disappointing.
