Great Service! Very friendly staff. I had the hamburger steak and fries with salad bar… Was Great! Although i wish they served breakfast all day! My waitress was amazing. Thanks. I hope you went out and got yourself some chocolates and flowers!

When we tried Circus Diner, it was completely packed with out-of-town visitors coming for an event. We immediately noticed that all of the staff were extremely attentive to all guests, and they took time to visit with anyone about the area and history of circuses wintering in Hugo. The walls were covered in memorabilia and the diner had a neat atmosphere. I ordered their daily special and the Littles enjoyed their hamburgers. Mrs. Flip Out had the salad bar and it had a variety of toppings and was fresh.

Its a Country cooking style. Food that fills you and tastes home-cooked. 10 oz hamburger steak with onion gravy, sweet potatoes and salad bar. I’ve had good pork chops here as well. A little of everything on menu. Probly one of the few good things about Hugo. Our waitress was good and took care of us well. This place always full at noon.

Ordered a cheese burger and fries. The food was good. Sometimes, a good diner burger hits the spot. The fries are your typical frozen fries, but they were fried just right. My fries had no salt, not sure if that’s normal or if they forgot. Personally, I prefer to salt my own fries. I have to admit, I came to this location because of the circus theme. Lot of knickknacks and pictures/posters to look at.

I know that my opinion is of no importance…that said I quit dining here for a couple of reasons.
1. They don’t understand what over medium eggs are even after explaining.
2. The excuse for their pale pancakes was they can’t control the temperature…not
3 Chicken and dumplings…means chicken…not little pieces of chicken…hello

The place is a time capsule. Waitress was short with us but she was good at her job. Chicken fried steak was not very good. Salad bar was great. The decor was cool if you like circus memorabilia

My family and I have eaten there for years, I don’t know what has happened but last two times we ordered from there, chicken fried steak diner wasn’t worth eating. Meat was so tuff that you couldn’t hardly cut it let a lone chew it. Had raw taste, was hardly cooked. We won’t be back, waste of money.
