I recently visited Olivetta, and the ambience felt like stepping into an enchanting ‘Alice in Wonderland’ setting. From the decor to the vibe, everything had a whimsical charm that made the evening memorable. The service was friendly and attentive, from the warm welcome at the door to the thoughtful care from our server.

I particularly enjoyed the Caesar salad—it was fresh and well-prepared. There was a bit of a wait for the steak, but the staff kindly let us know they were short-staffed that evening. Parking was a bit of a challenge, as there’s no nearby parking, so I had to valet my car. Despite that, it’s a great place to gather with friends for drinks and appetizers if you’re looking for a stylish spot to unwind. Just plan for a bit of extra time if it’s a busy night.

Olivetta in West Hollywood nails the vibe—it’s like stepping into an Old Hollywood dream. The lush interiors, draped ceilings, and rich colors create a glamorous yet inviting atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you’d imagine Hollywood icons lingering over cocktails. But while the ambiance was top-tier, the food was not the star.

We started with a side of caviar, served with crème fraîche and Yukon potato chips—an odd pairing that didn’t quite elevate the dish. The Caesar salad was filling but forgettable.

For our mains, we opted for three dishes:
• 8oz Filet Mignon – Cooked well with a nice sear, but it lacked that wow factor. A top-tier steakhouse would easily outshine this dish.
• Grilled Branzino – While stunning in presentation and generous in portion, it was overcooked, dry, and lacking flavor. A sauce or garnish could have helped elevate it, but as prepared, it fell flat.
• Paccheri with Vodka Sauce – Surprisingly, the standout of the night. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the vodka sauce had depth, a lingering hint of spice, and richness that set it apart from the other dishes. If I were to return, I’d skip the fish and steak and focus on the pasta offerings instead.

Service was polished, and the setting alone makes Olivetta worth visiting. If you’re here for a night of cocktails and ambiance, you won’t be disappointed. But if you’re expecting an elite fine-dining experience, choose your dishes wisely—some shine, while others struggle to live up to the restaurant’s glamorous aesthetic.

Celebrated my anniversary here yesterday and hands down this can be my favorite go to. The ambiance so was romantic and European. We walked in and they gave us Champaign on the house because we were celebrating our anniversary which was nice. The waitress was beyond helpful. Whatever she recommended is what we got and wow 10/10. For cocktails i had the tequila + carrot which sounded weird but I gave it a shot and it was amazing! The crispy squash blossom was so delicious!!! My favorite thing on the menu. We also had the shaved fennel salad which was very good and refreshing. My husband had the Radiatore which is a lamb bolognese, we were skeptical about ordering that dish because it might be very over powering with lamb but the waitress told us its half lamb and half beef so we gave it a try and it was DELICIOUS!Must try! I definitely recommend this restaurant.

We booked Olivetta for an early Valentine’s Day dinner, based on its popularity and reputation. I would not classify it as fine dining, more so a really good Italian restaurant that specializes in drinks, and a more upscale and lively vibe versus a traditional fine dining restaurant like Madeo up on W Sunset. I would say it’s a great place to bring a date or dinner with friends or family, and not so much a work dinner location. The inside is beautifully done and has some great colors. There are tapestries all along the walls with lots of plants dividing the dining areas and a very muted red color that really adds to the ambience. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot, it will be valet or metered street parking. You have to check in with security street side first and then they let you walk up the ramp where you will next check in with the hostess. They have a large bar area as well as a lot of different seating options. Our table was extremely small, however, and the tables were very close together so this is not the sort of place that you’ll be able to have a private or sensitive conversation. Our server was very polite, although took quite some time to take our order initially but overall, I think he did a great job. The music is quite loud here so if someone has hearing issues they will really struggle to hear others at their table.

They have a fairly large menu with a lot of great options on it. We started off with a Squash Blossoms, which were absolutely fantastic. I have ordered these all over town and this is definitely one of the better versions. I was a bit disappointed that it only comes with three which is a hard number to share so I wish the portion size would’ve been a bit larger for this. Next we followed with the Caesar Salad and it was great. Again, not a very large sized portion, but still tasty flavorwise. For my entrée, I chose the Creste Di Gallo because having the bone marrow scooped in right before you eat is an unbeatable addition to me. It was a true treat. I love bone marrow anything so this was great pasta. The bone marrow itself added a great flavor and a crunch to the meal, which I truly loved. We also ordered the special for the day, which was the Dungeness Crab Tagliatelle. It was absolutely fantastic and had a ton of crab on it. The sauce was truly what made the dish and the pasta was cooked perfectly. For dessert we topped off the meal with the Brown Sugar Budino and I definitely would recommend it. It was sweet and salty and actually a great sized portion. it was a great end of the meal.

Overall, I would say Olivetta is a great date spot. It’s very lively and very noisy but in a fun way. They play the music quite loud so it has a very Friday night kind of feel to it. I would recommend and will try it again sometime in the near future.

I’m very happy this place opened, the area needed a new restaurant.

We had a very satisfying meal. It’s a little on the pricier side, but the ambiance, portions and service all meet the expectation of what you’re paying for.

Nothing we ordered absolutely blew our minds, but everything overall was very good. We will definitely be coming back.

Had a lovely time at Olivetta. This was our second time at this restaurant and it was just as tasty as the first time. Definitely go here later in the day if you care about the vibes, the dim lighting is much more suited to this restaurant than the amount of light let in through the skylight during the day. The food is fantastic, I had the branzino and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned and my girlfriend got the bone marrow pasta and said that that dish is the reason why we will keep coming back. The non alcoholic cocktails were also delightful.

Californian upscale dining in WeHo. Made a reservation for 6:30pm online beforehand but we had to be seated a bit late since traffic is atrocious. Metered street parking and valet parking available. Indoor dining only. Credit cards accepted. We were a bit apprehensive about how the dining experience would be given the other negative reviews lambasting the service, but everyone was so pleasant. Our waiter checked in on us often and we always had a full glass of water.

We had the squash blossoms stuffed with ricotta (3) and baked prawns (4) to split as apps. I got the raviolo from their truffle menu; it was the first time I had such a giant stuffed pasta and this is also what made me realize ravioli is the plural form of the word. My sister got the bone marrow pasta which they cut and topped right before serving, and my dad got the lobster bucatini. The bucatini was fresh and cooked al dente. For dessert, we ended with the chocolate ball. I was unfortunate to have missed the melting of the ball since I was in the restroom but the dessert itself was tasty.

This is a cute little romantic spot in West Hollywood. The food was delicious. What an amazing cook!!! I loved the spaghetti and lobster. It was absolutely delicious and a great dish to share. The avocado on the tuna tartare was so fresh. This place was awesome. Kind of felt like Aladdin vibes and I loved it!!!!! Great spot for a dinner date or go out with a friend. Not to loud so you can talk. Vaccine cards are checked at the door so be prepared for that.

A SEE AND BE SEEN of weho with actual amazing food. We went for a holiday dinner and were blown away. The decor is sexy and fun. Great music. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. We had Big Eye Tuna Tartar, Persimmons & Burrata, Raditore, Pacific King Salmon, and Shoe String fries. All delicious- All worth it. Their expresso martinis are dangerously good. Lovely wine list too. Great for a special night.
