I went on a Saturday afternoon and my server was great. There were not many people dinning in but he still had a great attitude. The cook was very sweet also. She checked on the meal she prepared for me and seemed to take pride in her work. I had pork chops and eggs. If I could have eaten the bones, I would have! LOL

Brought my girlfriend here for some breakfast after a late night at darlington raceway for the Nascar race. The manger is very friendly ran a thigh shift and we had good service cause of it. I was able to get a large coffee to go which I very much need.

All of the staff were rude and unattentive! From the manager to the associates! My mother and I were passing through after staying overnight with my aunt who has cancer and recently had surgery. I placed an online pickup order. The website and text notifications specifically instruct you to come to the pickup window. They had my mom waiting at window for 15 minutes! They were all laughing inside and walked past the window multiple times looking her straight in the eye. Didn’t acknowledge her or even say come inside! A customer came over to the window and waved to tell my mom to come inside. He must have been a local because he was the only one that knew they only open the window on weekends. To mention, today is Sunday (considered a weekend)! They also left items out of my order and my mom had to go back inside and let them know they excluded some of our orders. They all need to be fired immediately. From what I can see, there are plenty of other customers, past & present, who all hold the same consensus here! I will be calling corporate to let them know about this experience. As a past food service worker, I am highly disgusted! If you guys only operate on weekends, then it should be specified on the website and notifications. Also, have some decorum when you are working in public service!

Definitely one of the worst waffle House’s I’ve been too. The cook took my order, made my food and served me. He had to ask one of the server’s to make my drink for me. He himself deserves 5 stars, but as for the rest of the workers a flat 2 stars.

The waitress Carrie was awesome the cook Ralph was horrible attitude also he was eating while cooking food my egg for my omlette was fluffy as a pancake burnt and greasy also sloppy. Carrie smiled through Ralph horrible service and gave the best customer service which made the situation easy to deal with.

I travel extensively within our state for my career so I do eat at waffle house all over the state regularly. Most of the time it’s a very good experience.The staff is very friendly. That was not the case on this particular day at this particular location.

Food was standard WH, nothing exceptional but nothing negative. I just felt more thrown together than cooked together. While the cook was tending to food on the grill, she would walk over to the side counter and eat her breakfast.

Service. Substandard. No one greeted us which is the standard of waffle house. When I would ask for things, and thank the waitress, there would be no response. It was just very cold and almost felt like I was inconvenient for our staff to ask for anything.

This is probably my 4th or 5th stop into this particular waffle house, as it is near one of the doctor’s offices that I frequent, but I will not be back.

The girl with the dreads that’s their late at night has a nasty attitude I will come in to get a breakfast bowl and she would charge me $15 to $16 for the breakfast bowl come to find out she was overcharging me because the breakfast bowl is only 14.11 when I spoken to the manager he told me she wasn’t doing that and do I have a receipt I told him I don’t have a receipt but I could show you bank statements on my phone he refused and continue to tell me that she was charging me for eggs which were 50 cent a piece due to eggs going up I tried to explain to him that she already charged me for the eggs because when I went to another waffle House the price was $14.11 he dismissed my claims and claimed that I was wrong when you I said sir I can show you he refused everyone complains about the girl attitude and I think he is sleeping or having relations with her because he was very overprotective this place is nasty and I will never go back unless it’s in the mornings with the morning crew

On September 20 my family and I visited Waffle House #939 in Columbia, SC around 12:00 PM. Upon arrival, there were only two customers present, both awaiting to-go orders. We seated ourselves and waited approximately 10 minutes before being acknowledged. The dining area was visibly unclean—our table was sticky, and the adjacent table was cluttered with dirty dishes and leftover food, indicating it had not been cleared after prior use.
We sanitized our own table and menus due to their condition. Our drink orders—a water and a fountain beverage—were served promptly, and we ordered three All-Star breakfasts and a side of hashbrowns. We waited over 30 minutes before receiving any food. One customer mentioned she had been waiting 40 minutes without receiving her order.
Food arrived in inconsistent increments. The hashbrowns were severely burnt and incorrectly plated with my eggs. My son’s meal arrived next, but we were only given two forks, two spoons, and one knife for three people. I had to repeatedly request butter and jelly. My wife’s meal arrived cold, and I never received my grits or waffles until I asked again—both were subpar.
Notably, two acquaintances of the manager entered and were served hot meals within 10 minutes, directly by the manager. This stark contrast in service was unacceptable. When we requested the bill and prepared to leave, an employee remarked, “Y’all could’ve taken the food home, y’all ain’t even eat the food,” which was highly inappropriate.
As a District Manager overseeing operations across SC, NC, GA, and VA, I find this experience unacceptable and will be sharing it as an example of poor service. This was my wife and son’s first visit to Waffle House—and likely their last.

Absolutely disgusting don’t eat there. The service was the worst of the worst, they all need to be fired, food was uncooked and had roaches running around. PLEAZE CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN!

Always has my order ready when I arrive and if for some reason its not its always done within a couple minutes of my arrival which means a lot since im a delivery driver! Love this waffle house
