Expected a fine dining experience based on other reviews, menu, and pricing but was disappointed. FYI the restaurant says that it’s open until 10pm but the kitchen closes at 9pm. We took a little time looking at the menu since neither of us had been here before and were told by our server that we had to choose because the kitchen closes in a few minutes and the chefs were waiting on us. I get where she was coming from by telling us that but you don’t tell guests that and most certainly don’t stand there after saying it, waiting for them to order. For the most part the server was pleasant but toward the end of our dinner it felt like she wanted to leave and since we were the only ones in there it was uncomfortable. We both had tenderloins prepared in different ways. The steak was a little bland and charred on the outside which I guess is how some like it, they were done to the temps we wanted. The ravioli was a saving grace, it’s amazing. At the end of dinner we both left a little disheartened because we were looking forward to trying this place. We spent $200 on dinner for 2 and decided we wouldn’t be going here ever again. I always say that I don’t mind paying for excellent food, atmosphere, and service but this place fell short on all of those so to me it was overpriced. My suggestion would be, go early to avoid feeling hurried.

This restaurant has amazing food. My wife and i had our wedding meal here. They kind of dropped the ball on their offer to make us a custom dessert, but the meals were delicious and they did a fantastic job handling a group of 20 people. Large variety of main courses made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The walleye I had was great and my wife loved her mushroom rissoto. Pricey, but well worth it!

We waited over an hour for the meal despite reservations. They took our appetizer away well before we were finished. They wine for one person, but not the other. The food was good, but it may be because we were so hungry! Also, the wait staff was openly fighting with one another. I’m guessing they were a couple.

Won’t be returning any time soon. Drinks took 10 minutes to get, waited 15 minutes after that for our appetizer and our entree came out about 30 min after that. Way too expensive for the slow service. Once the entree did arrive, it was delicious, no complaints there.

In fact I am writing to make a complaint . Last saturday 11th February my husband left a message making a reservation for the 14th of February and so far we did not hear from them confirming it. Just called but today is closed so we do not know if we are going to celebrate Saint Valentine there.
