I dont come here often, but each time I do something always sucks. Customer service sucks or food sucks. Today I ordered a meal where the order got messed up, and when given the option, I told them I would just take what I originally had wanted. 2 people came to the window to ask what I wanted, I told them I wanted the meal, the other person came up again and asked “did you just want your money back?” Why am I going to repeat myself 3 times within 1 minute? I was in a rush and frankly didn’t have the patience to sit there who knows how much longer to continue to repeat myself. I told them it’s fine and drove off. I started eating my fries and they’re gross- soggy and have a weird plastic/chemical taste. The nuggets from the happy meal also taste weird and the breading seems to have been cooked differently. Likely cooked on the wrong setting in the fryer. Safe to say at this point, I dont want to stop at this location anymore. This location used to be great 15-20 years ago.

This review is going to come out a little weird. I only go to this location for the play place. On extremely hot days it is nice to be able to take my son there. I’m aware that play places are disgusting bacteria heaps, I survived them and so will he. That being said, every time I go there, the place is a mess. There is always food on every table. Trash left on the ground and on the tables and workers standing around or rushing around for what appears to be due to lack of staffing.

Fry’s were under done, they were white not golden brown. I have attached pictures to support my claim.

The biggest issue I had was the service I received when I came to pick up my order. Carlos was working the front counter when I came to pick up my order. Among other items, my order included a large drink. Historically, every time Ive order a drink, they present me with an empty drink cup next to my bag for me to fill up. Keep in mind, I order from this locations 2-3 times a week so i’m familiar with how the pick up process works when I place a mobile order. But this time they decided to put my drink in my bag and then sealed the bag like it’s a DoorDash order or something. I was unaware my drink was in my bag so I asked the front counter employee “Carlos” if I could have a drink cup, he said no everything is in the bag. I said okay, Is it just an empty cup or is there sweet tea in there? Carlos replied with everything is in the bag. I said, okay I understand that, but the bag is sealed I’m trying to find out if the cup is filled or not. Carlos replies again with everything is in the bag. I respond with I understand that, but you’re not answering my question. Carlos got frustrated with me because there were people waiting in line behind me and decided to belittle me in a rude tone by asking if I speak English? Then continue to say we speak the same language right, what don’t you understand. Completely humiliated and frustrated by the situation, I walked away and decided to open my bag to see if my drink was in there. I did have my drink in my bag, but when I got back to work I realize I was never given a straw so I guess everything wasn’t in my bag… I work across the street, and have never had an experience like this. Traditionally, every experience I’ve had at this locations has been very friendly and positive but after today I will never step foot in that location again. Carlos shouldn’t be allowed to work any customer facing position when clearly he’s not trying to help any customers instead he is trying to start conflict with them. Any other customer service representative in his position would’ve just told me I had a filled drink in my bag and that would be the end of it. I would have left a happy customer.

The food is always cold. The fries are underdone they taste like they were cooked last week. They pull you forward just so they can say they have the fastest time. Forget you’re there and again your food is cold. When you receive it McDonald’s has gone downhill the Ballwin McDonald’s they’re extremely rude and I have been for my last time

Ordered a Shamrock McFlurry. Watched them make it and all the lady did was spray the mint flavoring on top of it and barely put any oreos in it. I opened it up and mint liquid was just sitting on top. Staff was very disorganized and manager told us that they were very busy, but he had enough time to go into the lobby and grab a drink. Additionally, the lobby was DIGUSTING!! Food and trash all over the floor. Will NOT be coming back to McDonald’s for a long time, so disappointed!

This McDonald’s on Hanley used to be the worst! Rude, impatient, and generally mean in the Drive-Thru. But in the last year or two that I’ve come back to trying it, I have not had a bad experience at all. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They did remodel the store and it looks nice. I guess there’s enough seating for a lunchtime rush, but I usually get it to go. But it’s McDonald’s so atmosphere isn’t really something you’re there for.

I got myself a sausage, egg, biscuit WITH CHEESE. The biscuit was bland and they left off the cheese! On top of that, I never got a receipt. Let’s just say that I probably won’t be getting breakfast there anytime soon as I can get a much better breakfast sandwich practically anywhere else.

I’m not even counting the fact that I went to McDonald’s was to indulge myself with getting a peppermint mocha and the machine was down. I’m not faulting them for that. It definitely adds to the now severe disappointment and buyer’s regret.

The short Hispanic girl that acts like a boy and is usually at the back booth pay window in the drive thru is insanely rude every time and slams the window in your face once she hands back your card. I’ve complained to the number on the receipt before and nobody even has the decency to respond so instead take your business elsewhere. Many better places very close to here.

Improper order completion! (Missed sandwich in a meal- main item) No courtesy or being apologetic when enquired about mistake(made me go back)! Poor management and customer service. Poor quality of food! Never going back this location anymore!
