Small place INSIDE the gas station! Theres a small food truck outside, which is how we found out about this place, not to be confused with the Nepali Restaurant which is right next to the gas station. The flavor of the sambusa was GREAT! Just the right amount of spicy, stuffed to the max! Tried beef and chicken, both great! Give this place a try! Will come back soon for more sambusas!!!

I tried the Sambusa at Uncle GZ Restaurant and absolutely loved it! The uncle Gz was incredibly kind and welcoming—he even set up chairs outside for us, where we got to enjoy our sambusa with a beautiful lake view. It was such a peaceful and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend visiting this place!

We placed a to go order. Amazing beef stew and fufu. Shrimp and rice sambusa was perfection. The young lady that took our order and prepared our food was so nice and helpful. I’m so glad we found this hidden gem that is so close to us. Give Uncle G’z a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Had vegetable sambusa on Ash Wednesday. The store was empty and I never saw anyone order from here so I didn’t know what to expect. I ordered 2 pies priced at $5 and tipped the cook $10 because I’m never sure how much business they get. She gave me an extra pie… yay!!! Paired with a Tropical Force Voodoo Ranger, bro… that’s a meal!!
It was fantastic!! I love this place! Excited to try the whole menu, especially during lent. Your darn tootin’ I’mma get me a whole fried fish from here! Was solicited by the homeless… it’s a gas station… that’s why atmosphere gets 4 stars. What are you gonna do? ‍♂️

I would have taken a picture of everything but I tore it up, these Sambusas were AMAZING. The cook I forgot to get his name was the most kind and hospitable person I’ve ever met behind a counter. 10/10 saved it for my crew to stop by and eat if they get the chance!

I enjoyed the Sambusa (King’s Pie) — I had both the beef and the chicken — and both are very flavorful. The chicken is tender. I enjoyed the steak kabob – very juicy and the added vegetables are flavorful! Everything was made to order in front of me so the taste was very fresh, which is great. The lady who made the food was kind and answered any questions I had about the menu items.
Tip: They are inside the gas station (no longer in the food truck).

Love the food here. Super delicious flavors and always trying new flavors. Their menu has a lot of hidden items so remember to ask. Also the staff is super friendly. It’s inside a gas station but the food is really great and fresh.

Was excited to try something different. Being without a car and living in walking distance i was all about trying this place. Was greeted with smile and good positive manners by all three employees there that was not the problem. The problem was the food and how it sat with me. This is a restaurant thats inside of gas station newly opened so i thought to myself its going to be clean. Im not for sure if it was the kitchens cleanliness or the cook doesnt know how to handle food properly. I ordered 1 beef kabob. Big chunks of meat with tiny idfy bity pieces of onion/peppers. Lol didnt really make sense the food presentation. And 2 sambusa. Spent 13$ total with a 2$tip. I would’ve posted my review yesterday however i was in the bathroom a lot longer than i would have liked to been. Today has been the same way. Its been almost 24 hrs and still dont feel good
