I’m conflicted. I used to Love everything i got here and tonight I didn’t even look at the menu. I just ordered what I used to get. Beef Bop bowl with teriyaki, with 2 dumplings and I gor the chicken katsu in the rice bowl as an extra treat. I guess things changed in my absence. The Beef Bop bowl doesn’t seem to have Romaine or broccoli anymore, just cabbage and the tiniest sprinkling of carrot shreds. And half the volume of Rice has been replaced by what looks like Udon noodles that are SATURATED in the teriyaki.. Their motto is “Have a Rice Day! – maybe they should change that. Also noted they don’t use their Logo branded bowls, they were plain white bowls.. cost cutting, I guess. – Onto the chicken katsu rice bowl. The chicken was fine, as I remembered.. but the saturated udon would have been a welcome respite in all the dry, chewy rice and the much larger chunks of cabbage. There was a barely noticeable drizzle of the teriyaki sauce on top of the chicken, which was no where enough to make any connection with the rice.. I ended up throwing out most of the rice and cabbage. Plain white rice with shards of purple cabbage – not a great combination. Will I go back? If I do, I will be changing my regular order and adjust my expectations. It’s just not the Top Bop it used to be. IYKYK.
Atmosphere – they play upbeat modern music in the shop but wow – I never noticed how shabby the painting and decor was in there. Paint chipping and generally poor workmanship in the front of house. Guessing they did not have the work done professionally. I don’t mean to sound elitist but Atmosphere is one of the items to be scored..
The people were nice and upbeat and the service was quick. Service got my highest score. Top Bop – i will miss you but you will live on if only in my dreams.

It was our first time trying out this restaurant, which is simple but cute and you order at a counter up front. The food was good but not amazing. I ordered the Poke Bop on spice 5 ( it wasn’t that spicy). My boyfriend ordered the beef bop which was good. We added the dumplings to each meal and he added an egg. It was a bit pricy though. I think it’s a good place overall.

Prices go up and quality goes down… separated to mixed veggies, then added noodles(!), then raised prices, then no more noodles, then raised prices, then just recently poorer quality chicken… I can’t keep going here with increasing prices and worse quality food.
And to be clear, the staff are the saving grace. They work so hard and do everything they can to be kind and friendly and helpful. My annoyance is purely with the food quality, which is probably more owner level decisions.

My first visit to Too Bop was a different location but I couldn’t even eat what they served. This time it was completely different this Top Bop was absolutely amazing and the service was above and beyond. My husband and I both enjoyed the Sesame chicken which was amazing but there were no sesame seeds on either dish.

Ordered 3 top bop bowls today and the service was nice and fast. The associates were welcoming and friendly. They are very nice. They made our top bops properly by adding the right amount of spicy sauce level and made sure they only used teriyaki sauce on hers. I did ask for a take out and they did packaged our food and utensils nicely and properly unlike other places where they just throw napkins and forks inside a plastic bag. Bowls was filled with delicious seafood and veggies and the other bowl is the same but with beef. The food taste great The place is clean and their decorations are exquisite. Would recommend this location ⭐️

I was looking for somewhere new to eat, heard about this place quite a bit, decided to do an online order. The online ordering menu was, slightly confusing, because there were so many different options, but I love options, so I wasn’t deterred by that, if you read through all of the options, you can go back & figure out exactly what you’re doing. The food was ready before my pickup time, which was great! Made it really quick & easy to go in & grab my order! The food was delicious & the employee I interacted with was nice, will definitely eat here again! Quick & cheap!

I really enjoyed the food at Top Bop. The menu was simple and delicious. I appreciate that they have 3 different locations and are a locally owned business! I tried the noodle bop which had a layer of rice and veggies topped with japchae (a savory Korean noodle dish.) We also tried the kimchi & seaweed salad. The serving size of the seaweed salad was a bit small, but the bop was filling so I didn’t mind. The food was delicious! Will definitely be returning!

I’ve been in Anchorage 2 weeks and eaten here 3 times now – I’m obsessed and could eat here every day! Poke Bop is my fav so far but Spicy Pork Bop is good too. And the Thai Tea is delicious.

Of the three of them, this location is my favorite. There are two young ladies who have worked years there.(They deserve top pay there for their work ethic!) They memorized my order and give great customer service!!
Feb 16 2024 I returned there after my grand jury service for the week. There were teo young men there. Although they were busy with Doordash/Uber Eats orders, they acknowledged me then prepared my food quickly. They, too, have a wonderful work ethic: fast, friendly service!

They have good and quick service in a very convenient and busy crossstreet! The suit is very reasonably priced and is made very quickly. The decor and atmosphere is also very relaxed and clean. I would definitely come back again!
