I can not say enough good things about this hidden gem. The deluxe chicken sandwich is amazing and such a large portion. You definitely get a bang for your buck here. Extremely friendly and professional staff. They had my son and I try their new menu item menu the New York sandwich which was amazing. We will definitely be back

Wow. Tasty filling Burger selection. Chicken sandwiches and All white-meat Chicken Fingers you can see in each juicy bite, and to top it off with their “Al’s” sauce reminds me of the only Local Raising Cane’s Fingers you can get!
We’ve been going to Al’s since they’ve open 1 year ago and they have been adding Gyros and Chicken Wings on the Menu. The owner treats you like family as you’ll really get to know someone when you try their food. Thank you for being Albert Lea Burger and Chicken !

Service was great. Lady at the counter was friendly. Tables were clean but floors were a bit sticky.
I had the 3 piece chicken fingers. They tasted like regular chicken tenders, nothing too special about it. Their crispy fries were delicious. The fries were my favorite part. Whatever they’re seasoned with, is amazing.
Would like to come back again and try their burger or chicken sandwich.

I’ll start by saying the food has always been good every time I have been here. I would compare the burger to Culver’s. The chicken sandwich isn’t like anything I’ve had before and it is great as well. Unfortunately they are always out of hand cut fries when I go in. Now onto the bad. Customer service is lacking…. severely. Today was the first day someone said thanks for coming in. Never get greeted at the counter. You stand there waiting if they are ready because they never say like hey how are you what can I get you? The first time I went I asked the difference between fries and pretty much got laughed at by who I am pretty sure is the owner. They never seem very friendly at all. It’ll be awhile before I come back because of that. Love the food but service needs a major change.

Super employees who were very polite and answered my questions about everything. Easy order system in place-everything is ala cart and drinks are one size! Super smart! The chicken fingers are way better than I have had in a very long time!

Decent burger! The atmosphere is just a fast food place, so I took it to go. The whole burger got a smashed in the moment. Everything is sold separately, so I got cheese curds instead of fries. The cheese curds are pretty great, make sure you eat them before they cool down. The double burger was also quite large for a smash burger!

Hand cut fries, fresh smashed burgers, I can’t say anything bad about the meal. People so friendly and helpful. Explaining what and how they cook all of it. Small menu but perfect. Either you’re getting a burger or chicken.

FANTASTIC FOOD. Happened to stop for gas nearby and saw the reviews. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time! Absolutely worth a stop!
