We came here a few weeks ago and had an absolute blast! They had a good game selection (you are placed at a table by which system you want to play), the atmosphere was fun, and everyone was so nice. We sat at the table with the switch and got to play a lot of classic Nintendo games that my husband loved as a kid and I got to enjoy for the first time. The food was a little generic but tasted good and they had a good beer/cocktail menu. They really leaned into the theme with having all the food and drinks named with references to different games and shows. They also had a few classic arcade games that were a lot of fun! The waitress we had was so kind and attentive and always made sure we had what we needed. Overall it was a fun experience and I definitely recommend it as a fun night out!

My family was originally going to Asheville pizza and brewing for some video games and pizza, but it’s been so long, that we didn’t know they had turned the video game side into theater no 2. The guy taking tix suggested to us to check out “The guild bar & grill”, which is just across the street, above Hop ice cream.
They have a full bar (drinks start after 4pm), and a breakfast menu, in addition to a regular menu. Tables with games, both video and traditional board games. Arcade style games, a large wooden Jenga, pool, and a dance area. My kids 10 & 6 loved all of the options, and we chose Super Mario Life to play as a family while we enjoyed our food.
This time around, we went with appetizers, and highly recommend the sampler platter. 5 stars all the way. Will definitely come back and bring friends.

Really like this new little spot. It’s open late (2am) has video games you can play if you’re buying something and a pool table. Good food, I have had the fried cheese half moons- my favorite, and the loaded fries. Reasonable drink prices plus I love the bartender with the Green hair from Scotland 🙂 it’s kind of small but great location.

The concept could be great but this was a very poor execution!
The people seem kind but extremely unprepared to serve people.
There were gaming consoles but, nearly none of them worked.
Service was poor, even though it seemed like the youg girl was trying. Kept confusing our orders and didn’t have some of the items on the menu.
I would not ever go back even though I loved the concept.
Food was under par at beat.
Drinks were no where near alcoholic.
It wasn’t clean….
They need a bar rescue for sure.

downsides: Drinks were insanely sugary. the tvs in the booths are so close your neck hurts and are literally a foot away. the food was not good, wings came soaked in sauce, the ranch was so watery, the veggies were all chopped up weird. manager was not helping the busy bartender just telling them what to do. there was only 2 staff for a saturday night. also it seems a bit limited as to what you can actually do regarding capacity. doesn’t seem many people would get to play if it’s a busy night.
upside: i enjoy the setting and the location is awesome. the ambiance is cool with the lights and more. it is also latin owned which provides a cool safe space for the chicano / latin american community tho it isn’t saturated with latin decor just simple music which is nice. there are lots of games to play on the consoles. a great spot for family n friends but possibly make it 18 or 21+ plus after 9 since there’s a college near by. there were little kids there surrounded by drunk adults which shouldn’t be allowed.

I love this bar & grill! They have a large selection of food items and alcoholic beverages! Me and my family enjoy this place so much every time we stop by! The new and improved menu for 2023 is top tier! I love their loaded fries and wings along with their mac & cheese, it’s sooo cheesy and delicious! I can’t help but spend over 2 hours every time I’m here because of all the fun games there are to choose from! There are board games and consoles at every booth! I highly recommend this place whether your with a friend, family or even solo! Lastly, it’s in a very convenient location right on merrimon avenue between Asheville & Weaverville.

Food was great, friendly service. Yet, my soda tasted flat, much less didn’t get asked for a refill. Also, this place is not easy to find, since there isn’t any outdoor signage, and the only way to find this place is via Google Maps/GPS device.

It’s really great just coming here and getting a booth and watching anime or playing games on one of their many consoles. Also, REALLY good burgers and mac n cheese – I was surprised. Great new place!
