La esquina pepe 2 is one of my husbands favorite spot. We have eaten here 3 times in the past 6 months and we love the cozy and family feel atmosphere. The service is great and the food has been fresh every time we’ve been. My favorite plate here is the chicken flautas. The serving size is appropriate for the pricing. We like to come here when we want something quick but homemade like. We stopped by the first day of this years winter storm and they immediately offered us some caldo which was so thoughtful and considerate based on the weather. We will be back again and try more menu items! I do want to note that we ordered a Mexican coke and bottled dr pepper and the drinks are not as marked up as other places which was a plus!

Welcoming ambiance, great people, delicious food. I ordered Menudo and it was so delicious. It’s my first time trying it and the server was so sweet and patient explaining how dish this is a staple Sunday breakfast. Chef also check us in and my husband loves the burrito This place is worth a try!

Overall food was ok, their beef fajitas and rice tasted like left over food from yesterday and the chips were already cooked and she just dipped them in oil to get the chips hot, they were very oily when she gave me them. Also vegetable tasted slightly old. Overall customer service is good the food could taste fresher maybe make upon order since it’s not very busy.
