Good tasting food. Great service. Quesadilla was not very hot when delivered to my table, but i was greeted and seated delightfully and I think the manager came around to every table. They helped bag my food and a small mint with the check.

Professional service and good food. The restaurant itself is somewhat small but it was not crowded when I arrived. I had San Felipe steak and it was really tasty. Would be better if it came with more cheese and maybe some sourcream. Chips were fresh, salsa was par. Overall pleasant experience , I well be back to try more dishes in the future.

Food is really not bad but.. service is not up to expectation. I mean we had good experiences in the past. This time we came, the waitress was rude. We had a party of 10 and I think she just doesn’t understand us. 2 orders came out wrong. I don’t know what happened to this place. We’ll come back and hope for a different waitress next time!

I’m not a big fan or Mexican food but my wife is. Went there expecting to not be satisfied but was pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was phenomenal and the horchata was spot on. Definitely will not hesitate going back here.

This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant. I’m not a chef, so I’m not sure what spice mix they use for their beef, but it is the best beef I’ve had bar none.
The actual restaurant is lovely and cozy in atmosphere and the staff are quick, helpful & friendly. Love this place!

Last visit to this location wasn’t great. I ordered nacho supreme, they came with hardly any cheese, and the beef had no seasoning at all, just cooked hamburger meat…. my wife ordered something with chicken and she also thought it was rather bland… we usually go to the siler city location and always have a good experience there, but I’m not sure we will be back to the pittsboro one.

The best Mexican food in the area for sure! For quality / price San Felipe can’t be beat. Real salsa, Modelo with a lime, nice dishes, authentic music, excellent food and service. Five stars no doubt!! Worth the drive.

If you haven’t eaten for the entire day. I highly recommend the San Felipe Restaurant for brunch or any other time in Pittsboro NC. I ordered the Fajita Vegetarian with a side order of chips. The presentation of how they display their food on their dinner plates were very professional and I only waited a few minutes before the food arrived at the table. I forgot to add my review during the week last week, so here it is. The price for this awesome meal was less than seven dollars. The waiters and even the cashier during my meal made sure I was comfortable. I will going back again!

After being seated warm chips and salsa (which are free!) Are brought to the table. The salsa heat is just right. All the food is good but best is the Texas Fajita for 2, made of steak, chicken and shrimp.
