Food was really good and they made me a sandwich differently than the what’s on the menu, which I appreciated. There are plenty of choices on the menu, I just happened to have a craving for something specific and the were kind enough to make it. Service was very pleasant and our order was ready quickly. The atmosphere is bright and clean, it’s easy to park, and prices are really reasonable. Great local find.

Absolutely LOVE the food here! We’ve tried sandwiches as well as the pizza and it’s amazing! The pizza is perfect, not too much dough, perfect amount of sauce and REALLY cheese that gives a fantastic cheese pull and toppings that are delicious! I highly recommend this spot for pizza as well as their other options! They haven’t disappointed us yet and we’ve ordered pickup a few times now!

Used to go here every week to get my family pizza and me and my husband our sandwiches. Recently every time we order our sandwiches they are messed up. Simple sandwiches at that steak and cheese and a steak bomb. Our bread on the bottom is always sobbing wet and gross. He’s had onions and peppers in his when he did not order that. We loved going here. Now it’s we don’t even want to order there any more.

I asked for a sort of garlic bread pizza and they gave me just that, a large delicious garlic bread with sauce on side, by the way the sauce is phenomenal (ask for the sauce on side to dip) over all this is a truly an absolute must experience that’s savory in every bite and most importantly please dine in don’t take out! Stop by with family to really appreciate how good it really is.

WARNING TO VEGETARIANS AND VEGANS! I am vegan, after being a life long vegetarian my whole life. I am 73. In all fairness to Angelo’s I did not state I was vegan mostly because I find that Maine restaurants are not very knowledgeable about that and lump it in or mix it up with gluten free. I ordered the veggie Italian, no cheese, no mayo and no onion (I dont like them raw), and toasted. I also ordered fries for our table. The sandwich was very good and made to order. The fries were forgotten but when we reminded, they came out quickly. The man and woman who helped us were both very pleasant. After eating I commented on the crispness of the fries and was informed (over my now non vegan or even vegetarian body) they are cooked in LARD. I am struggling with this news and feel compelled to warn other vegetarians and vegans to not order fried food there.

I don’t understand some of the 1 stars. The owners are really kind people. I can’t speak for the entire menu because I haven’t had it all buuuuut their pizza is my all time fav pizza I’ve had in Maine. The deserts are bomb , subs are good, burgers are good, their salads are good. (Yeah they have a lot of options but that’s only just a portion of what their menu consists of that I’ve tried).
The atmosphere is usually pretty calm! I always enjoy a restaurant that doesn’t have bright lights & plenty of seating.
Not to mention pretty reasonable pricing!!!
My go to appetizer has always been the cheesy garlic bread for $4. You get like an entire loaf with marinara & it’s yummy.
The only slight inconvenience I’ve ever had is ordering two marinara sides and getting 1. Nothing to fuss over tho, I usually just tell them & it’s not an issue.
