I was looking for handmade dumplings and found this place! The pork leek shrimp dumplings were so juicy and delicious and they serve them with a vinegar based sauce (the correct sauce in my opinion). We also got the di San Xian – eggplant potato and pepper dish – and fried tofu in spicy sauce, both were great. The eggplant was perfect. It’s been awhile since I had good northern Chinese food and I’m so happy.

Authentic chinese cuisine. I highly recommend the steamed dumplings and any of their BBQ skewers. One of my favorite dishes is the Noodles with spicy pork soup and their amazing beging noodles are to die for. Stop by and support this great place during this tough times.

Tried the Ma Po Tofu for lunch special. It was really good but it didn’t jump up and slap me in the taste buds like some others I’ve tried. Rice was amazing. Friendly staff. Clean place. Good value. Classic place where they bring you teas first. Will go back

Pictured is the sesame chicken with the fried rice option, which didn’t turn out to be what I was expecting but still great taste and portion size. It was a little warm inside the restaurant and the canned cola I got wasn’t particularly cold either, but clean restroom. I think next time I’m gonna go for a less ‘American Style’ dish and see if I can ask for ice and a cup, but overall definitely coming back, the place has soul to it.

LOVE IT! I visted Golden Garden on a Saturday afternoon. No one was in the restaurant, so I was nervous it’s the kind of fake Chinese restaurant. I eventully found out it is the most authentic Chinese eastnorth restaurant in Boston!! The food is awesome. The waitresses are polite and helpful. I give it a 5 star. Anyone interested in/ missing Chinese food should give it a shoot!!
