So happy finally made into this gem! Welcoming staff, spectacular grilled muffins (we had a blueberry cornbread muffin), omlettes the color or real eggs (one mushroom the other corned beef hash….home made). Great perfect homestyle potatoes and one great cup of coffee!

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Kelly, and chatting with her about our shared love for East Beach. I’ll definitely be back! If you’re looking for some home style breakfast/lunch, this is it here. Wow, amazing delicious food. The fact that we got here at almost closing and they sat us down with no hesitation. Great service overall. Also, their cluster dessert was delicious.

Old school diner with old school diner food. Quaint and authentic, where you can watch the cook literally slingin’ hash! Definitely enjoyed the experience and will return when we’re in the area. Highly recommend the cornbread and the Grapenuts pudding.

We stumbled across the diner while visiting the area. The staff was friendly and inviting, and very accommodating. One of the owners engaged us in some light banter – we had a nice time and it was a comfortable environment. The food was good, too! I’ll definitely stop back in the next time we’re in Warwick.

I forgot to tell you– the main reason I stopped at the Diner: Pancakes.
The place was crowded, but I squeezed on to a stool, close to the action.
I did observe the talkative gent, obviously – a regular, next to me chowing down on what looked like six sandwiches. I minded my own business, but I heard him order fries and later he exclaimed, “These are the best fries I ever had!”
Just as I was leaving, I heard a thank you from my server and… “have a great day.”
Full disclosure: I took a quick glance at my neighbor’s plate.

Lisa was our waitress this morning Oct 5 2025. She was a great old school waitress who understood customer service and had great conversation! She shared a little of her start in the business with us so I understand that she is highly skilled. We enjoyed our good food even more because of the great service!

If you’re looking for a capital D Diner this is your joint: big grill with pancakes, bacon, burgers, eggs, hash, home fries..you name it! I went in to get bacon and pancakes but saw Helen’s Heavenly Hash on the menu. Waitress told me everybody gets it and it’s great. Spoiler alert: she wasn’t lying! Topped with some perfectly over easy eggs and some delicious toast and home fries this was a delicious mid day breakfast. But I wasn’t done there! Grape nut pudding? I thought you’d never ask! It was awesome too! If you’re in the area you probably already know this place. If you’re not, what the heck are you waiting for!

The people giving this place good reviews must also love food from a gas station. We’ve been to a dozen diners in RI and this one ranks near the bottom. Another reviewer described it as “quaint.” There’s nothing quaint about it at all! It’s just small with literally zero personality. The multiple servers stand around on their phones or are chatting amongst themselves. One was talking to the cook while she was cooking, causing her to overcook the food because she was distracted. One was scratching the acne on her face then grabbing the toast to put it on the plate. If you’re in Warwick and want a real diner with well prepared food, go to Cozy Grill on Warwick Ave! If you do, you’ll never step foot in Jefferson Diner again.
