Was so happy when we finally got a sourdough bread bakery in Florence. The owner is always striving to perfect his loaves but I honestly don’t know how they could get much better; they are just the right balance of sour and chewy. The smell of fresh bread when you walk in the store is heavenly and all the staff are very friendly.

I was passing through Florence on a road trip and wanted something to nibble on in the car. Found this bread shop and bought a loaf of sourdough. Soft on the inside, lightly crusted on the outside and flavor was wonderful. The woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I bought the loaf of a new flavor they were trying out with flacks of dark chocolate and a berry (Marion berry maybe?). Loved it and it was perfect to snack on. Will definitely stop again next time I’m in the area.

The sourdough is delicious! I can’t wait to smoke some pastrami type meats worthy of sampling the marble rye. Nice people. Nifty bread slicer.

Stopped and got some sourdough bread.
Was the best bread I’ve ever had and will definitely be going back.

The lady at the counter was awesome. Told me about everything they sold there but did not presure at all.

Keep up the great work!

So glad I stopped by yesterday! Been wanting to visit for a while. Gavin was a delightful and knowledgeable host. TRULY enjoyed a run down of the various flavors and types of products offered. He took the time to talk with me and answer my questions, with the passion you want to see in a baker. Purchased some kalamata olive sourdough, challah and gingerbread cookies. Immediately tried everything when I got home and will be back for more. Fresh, tasty and exceeded my expectations! Nailed it!!

We visited over the Labor Day weekend and got a baguette as well as a garlic rosemary sourdough. The baguette was fantastic with salted butter and the garlic rosemary sourdough made the most fantastic grilled cheese & croutons. Super helpful and welcoming staff as well.

I bought a loaf of marbled rye and cranberry walnut sourdough. It is so so delicious we had the best ruebens. Can’t wait to make turkey with cream cheese on the sourdough.
