I loved this place! I was trying to place what was different about the bagels and after reading some of the reviews, I think it might be that they don’t boil the bagels before baking, or they at least don’t boil as long. This does give them a different texture (not as soft), but I wasn’t mad at it! We came back 2 days in a row (visiting from out of town) because I was sad to leave them behind. The first day, I got the garlic and herb bagel with the garlic and herb cream cheese. The girl helping us was really nice and gave her opinions on what she likes as I was debating on cream cheese for my bagel. The second day, I got the bacon and cheddar bagel with the garlic and herb cream cheese. Both days, I was blown away! The flavors are great, and the cream cheese was soooo good. I had the nantucket OJ to drink the first day, which was bleh, so I got apple the next day, and that was a win. We went in on a Saturday morning and a Sunday morning and didn’t have a line really or have to wait. Staff was attentive and quick, as well as being friendly! Sad that these aren’t out here in Vegas, but if I’m ever back, this will be my first stop!

I was very impressed!
It seems to be difficult to find good bagels anywhere in the PNW but this place was it.
They had a really good selection of bagels, cream cheese and even breakfast and lunch sandwich options.
I was excited to see they had a sundried tomato bagel, which is a fave. I ordered that with the garlic herb cream cheese and it was delicious!
Anyway, I’m guessing it’s a popular place for locals since the line was out the door at times, but if you’re from out of town (like we were) definitely go check it out.

Tasty bagels at a great price. The sandwich was huge, very tall and packed with fresh ingredients, and a great value.

Friendly staff and great tasting bagels. You can get them plain with cream cheese, or try one of their great tasting bagel combinations. Many different types of bagels to choose from. I personally always get the Eye Opener. While your there, grab some bagels to go by the 1/2 or full dozen. They even sell bagel toppings, coffee and the lemon bars that are really delicious. My family and I really like this place. If you’re in the area and in the mood for a bagel, you should definitely check this place out!

Edit: I have been back 3 times since this review 1 out of 3 of those times they forgot to put something on my bagel so most the time they have gotten it made correctly. If your order is messed up the owner said they will fix it but I am usually in too much of a hurry so don’t check and hope it’s right. I’d still suggest checking out before you go if it’s not something they normally make. I’d still suggest coming here as their bagels are tastey. The staff is usually very nice, however they only get my order right about half the time which is very frustrating at times. When they do get it right it is great, just make sure to check your order before leaving.

While walking up to the shop I noticed three separate groups eating their bagels in their cars. Upon walking in I understood why. Place was a mess, crumbs on the back counter along with dirty utensils, and the register counter was also covered in crumbs. Not a single customer or employee in sight. Atmosphere was bleak and very unwelcoming, I don’t even think they had music playing. A little bit later I waited for an employee to slowly make their way over to acknowledge they had a guest, never smiling and obviously very unhappy to be there. Took my order (cinnamon raisin bagel with plain cream cheese) and told me to wait at the register.

Total was $4.50, left a tip and noticed it was more than they quoted so I texted my receipt. Yup, credit card fees being passed to their guests without a sign that I could find. Maybe it was there or I was just so focused on the mess everywhere. Good business practice, don’t charge your guests for paying you for product. Build it into the cost of doing business.

Left the shop and went on my way. As soon as I got home I dug in, noticing that the outside of the wrapper had soft onions and poppyseeds stuck to it. My cinnamon raisin bagel also came with pieces of onion stuck around it. Not a good combination to have onion in every bite of my cinnamon bagel. Can only assume it was from using a dirty utensil to cut the bagel or placing it on a dirty counter.

I’m not sure why Big O Bagels is still around. Have yet to have a great experience here. Maybe it’s because they are the only bagel shop in town which is the only reason I went in, definitely for the last time. I’d rather drive all the way to Bend to get a decent bagel.

I had the lox & capers on a sourdough bagel & it was amazing. Also bought a bakers dozen for the road. The staff is super friendly & the coffee is respectably good. Great place to grab a bagel if you ever find yourself hungry for bagels in Redmond.

This place used to be good but I wouldn’t recommend now. Prices don’t match the product quality. Ordered a lox bagel. Cost me almost $10 for that. They put ONE LAYER of salmon across the bagel. That’s ridiculous… should have paid for salmon flavored cream cheese bagel instead. Anyway… the bottled soda was room temp and the “baked yesterday” cookie was dry. I’m not usually a review writer but this whole experience was so lame and disappointing I couldn’t help myself.

A nice bagel shop. About 20 flavors, a decent selection of cream cheese, and a handful of solid sandwiches. Great staff, quick service, and decent flavor freshness. A delightful place.
