We went tonight and got the restaurant week special. My husband and I both had the best day ever burger, I had the onion rings, he had fried pickles, then we both had the fruity pebble milk shake. It was really good! The staff was super nice. I didn’t catch the kid behind the counters name but we were there around 6:00 on 02/26 and his customer service skills were great. He even let us take our shakes at the end so they didn’t melt. Onion rings, fried pickles, and shakes on point! My husband loved his burger and had no complaints. I thought my patty was a bit thin and thought maybe a should have ordered the double. It was also kinda hard to eat but it didn’t matter because it was so good. Maybe some forks on the table would help that. We will be back!

Overall pretty good! We went for restaurant week and arrived at about 5-5:15. Space indoors is small, so busy times can get crowded. They looked to have a decent amount of outdoor seating for the warmer months. We opted for to-go.
They already had a few groups inside and MANY more people came after we ordered. They only had two people working but they were doing absolutely great with how many orders they had at once. We got onion rings, Shelbys fries, the Best Day Ever, Shelbys 500, and fruity pebble shakes. Unfortunately, they did forget the extra patty i ordered/paid for on the Best Day Ever, but given the amount of burgers they had to get through at once (literally like 20 patties on the grill at a time) Im not holding it against them. If you choose that sandwich, I do recommend getting another patty despite the egg/bacon for a better bread:filling ratio. You get quite a large portion of fries/onion rings (forgot to take a pic, but the shelbys fries were in their own to-go container and filled the entire bottom). Both my partner and I personally think we’d rather have regular fries though, as some bites the garlic/rosemary were a little overpowering. The onion rings are the perfect onion ring imo, thick onion slices with a thin smooth batter, and fry sauce is perfect. The shakes were quite good, didnt taste fake like McDonalds soft serve.
With the upcharge for an extra patty on each sandwich plus about a $10 tip and tax, our total was $70. If youre wanting to eat at a local place, it isnt too bad in my opinion considering the size and having a shake as well. I’d like to come back on a day out and dine in.

Shelby’s Burgers is SO good! The smashburgers are absolutely amazing… perfectly crispy on the edges, juicy, and full of flavor. You can tell they know what they’re doing back there.
We had the best service from Reni and Conor… friendly, attentive, and just genuinely awesome humans. They made the whole experience even better.
And the milkshakes? Killer. So creamy and delicious.
Plus the place is decorated so cute… such a fun vibe! We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Fantastic smash burger and fries! I got the one with onions and garlic aioli. So tasty! They were quick with my call in order to go and super nice when I picked it up. Definitely need to stop by again when I am in the area!

Shelby’s has to be the best smash burger I have ever had. I’m not sure what smash wizardry they have come up with but it is absolutely delicious. Plenty of seating, clean tables, lots of parking and staff were super friendly! Great spot for the fam or after work if you want a quick burger and beer. Definitely will be back.

I was in Spokane for work when I saw this place on google. Absolutely delicious, old school smash burgers, I had to get a triple and it was gone in 2 seconds. Great fries as well and the sauces are awesome. Highly recommend!

I stop here every chance I get. If any place knows how to do a proper smash burger, it’s here. Wonderful service and amazing food. Even got a pup burger for my dog. Definitely recommend trying the Oklahoma Burger.

Love a good smash burger! Visited Shelby’s on a road trip to Spokane and was delighted to find a place serving smash burgers! We had an Oklahoma and a 350 burger, both were cooked perfectly and were juicy and delicious!
My only feedback would be maybe just use about half the amount of sauce on the Oklahoma, it was dripping and made a huge mess!

Burger was incredible, only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because their website shows a picture of fries with their burgers. I ordered the Oklahoma and was expecting fries, I didn’t say anything and I regret that now looking back. Was I just not given fries or did I really just spend over $16 on a double smash burger after tax and tip? Honestly not upset and still recommend their food. Eat there if you’re thinking about it the quality is top notch.
