I hope this was an off day. Arrived at 12:15. You walk in and place your order at the counter. Turn around and can not find a seat because so many people have sat down waiting on their orders. Our intention was to eat in. We went to fix our drink and two of the more popular fountain drinks were out of order. 30 minutes later we received our order. The background music was anoyingly loud. We love spam masubi and ordered 4 to go. Next was katsu spam masubi for a appetizer that some how got missed in the kitchen and came out as regular spam masubi. Also chicken katsu and Kailua pork. Something seemed wrong with the katsu chicken. It tasted like it was cooked in something that had an electrical short and the the electrical smoke overwhelmed the chicken. It looked awesome, but just didn’t. The pork Kailua was a good plate. Never thought pork and cabbage leaves would go together like that. Unfortunately we will be waiting a while before we go back

The food was exceptional, fresh, hot and quick! I had the kalua pork and it was very tender, flavorful, and juicy. The kimchi cucumber was super good and definitely recommend as a must get. As a whole I had a great experience, and the service from the staff was exceptional! We loved the host with the black hair, she was super nice and talkative!
Whole experience reminded me of being in hawaii! Will return!

Pretty chill spot, nothing to fancy. You can definitely sit down and eat. My husband got the teriyaki steak and kalua pork! Both meats were super tender! I got the Loco Moco plate! And thank goodness that I did. I haven’t had food this close to what I used to eat in Washington state. And if you’re a fan of kimchi, definitely ask for more! It was so good!! The portions were big so I’ll definitely have some for tomorrow. Oh and while you’re at it, try out their spam masubi. We will definitely be back!! It was a great taste of home.

This place feels like a small piece of home. For Pacific Islanders especially, having food that reminds you of home when there aren’t many options around is something special.
We ordered the chicken katsu with gravy, garlic shrimp, loco moco, and BBQ steak, and each plate came with mac salad, which was a great, familiar touch. Portions were generous and filling.
Others may say it doesn’t taste exactly like back home, but that’s important to be realistic about. Many traditional ingredients aren’t available locally and have to be shipped in from out of state. Given that, this restaurant does a great job capturing the comfort and spirit of island food.
Grateful this place exists and will definitely be back to support. Come with an open mind and you’ll enjoy it.

Hawaii Born and raised……this food tastes like you’re sitting on the North Shore enjoying the sun and listening to the waves.
Great service, huge portions and priced just right.
Family owned business with down home vibe. Recommend trying the Aloha Plate and Columbia plate. The owner Maui came out and checked on each table. Wish I lived closer I’d be here every week.

I was b&r on Kaua’i so I’m a little guarded when it comes to island food on the mainland. I ordered the Columbia combo of katsu, BBQ chicken, garlic chicken, mac salad, rice, and kimchi. I was so impressed! Everything had a nice taste, and the presentation was the familiar, typical plate lunch style – layered perfectly. Just a heads up that it’s oi kimchi, and you may need to ask for another scoop of rice or two since they give generous chicken portions. I shared this with two of my daughters because there’s so much food to enjoy. I didn’t try the musubi since we make it at home weekly, but I’m excited to order other entrees next time.

I’m a Hawaiian food SNOB so I have high expectations for any Hawaiian food not on island lol. I was pleasantly surprised. Food was hot and fresh. Everything tasted on point. Only thing I’d suggest is go them to bite the buck and order some Aloha Shoyu. I think they had kikkoman
Other than that, it was really good. Conveniently located right next to a parking garage

Got the two meat plate with kahlua pork and crispy garlic chicken, both were delicious, especially the garlic chicken! I’m typically not a fan of pasta salad, but I really liked what they gave me here, very peppery which I enjoy. I also got a spam musubi on the side, which was fantastic as well. Very friendly service. Got the plate for a late lunch for just about $15 and I think I’m full for the rest of the day, very good value for what they give you. Check them out!

Phenomenal food, steak was great, katsu chicken moist, mac salad lacked seasoning but everything else was fantastic. Even tried the Kahlua Pork and whitefish. The sticky rise is sticky, but moist and actually not dry at all. Will definitely be back.

Everything was absolutely delicious! The teriyaki steak was very tender and my sesame chicken was so crispy and at a pretty good price.
Dylan -the conqueror- was the best and made us feel very welcomed and was just the sweetest. Cant wait to come back and try out all the menu
