I live in Arizona but visit Fondy annually and when I do Korneli’s is the neighborhood bar I call home. The big reason is because their bartenders are awesome, fun, friendly, and professional – especially Joey. If Joey is working you are in for a real treat – he’s a great bartender, funny as hell and is down for a great conversation (be careful because he’s hilariously snarky at times too).

Loved the atmosphere but had a bartender named, Joey, who was stealing money from me. I would give him a $20 for a drink and he kept the change. When I confronted him about it, he said “let’s take shots and then we will talk about your change”. I firmly said no, I want you to give me the correct change first and no thank you to the shot. Never have I ever been disrespected by a bartender before. Hoping he no longer works there if he keeps this up.

Such a chill atmosphere!!! The lighting is laid back. The decor is just enough. The people are fun. The drinks are GREAT!!! The prices are at or below the local average (well, the average of what I’ve paid). The music is played via the jukebox and it’s a mixture so there’s sure to be something for EVERYONE!!!
