I went with a classic American-style breakfast that included grilled chicken sausage, roasted potatoes, and two eggs that were almost poached. Everything was perfectly fine, the potatoes were well seasoned and the overall meal was satisfying.
I also added a pancake on the side, which was quite standard and nothing particularly memorable.
For starters, there’s not that much parking. Maybe 10 to 12 spaces and after that you would need to park out on the street. After deciding what to get from the menu we ordered something to drink. My wife, our daughter and I had Café de Olla, that we thought wasn’t very tasty. Our son ordered the Caramel Ice Latte which he didn’t like, it was too strong for his taste.
The dishes we had were too plain, not that much taste and the prices a little to high for what you get.
The portabella mushroom omelet was perfectly cooked, packed with colorful vegetables and paired with seasoned red potatoes and a toasted English muffin. The breakfast burrito hit the spot — hearty, flavorful, and made even better with their savory house salsa. A side of fresh fruit balanced it all out.
For drinks, the French Vanilla coffee was rich and aromatic, while the Hazelnut iced latte was smooth, nutty, and beautifully layered — a visual and flavorful treat.
Papas and Eggs blends great food, peaceful ambiance, and a fun, open kitchen experience. We’ll definitely be back for more!
Loved their lavender latte.
Bathrooms available inside, quick service. Would return.
Parking can be tight on popular times but there is street parking available.
The lattes were on point. I had fresh squeezed OJ The food was delicious. I had the chorizo omelette. Jim had the Huevos Rancheros. They have A lot on the menu that We need to try becuz it All Sounds so delicious. We will be coming back It’s such a cute and quaint little place. The name is definitely fitting; I would ask my mom when I was little. Can I have some papas and eggs?
Their chilaquiles were ok, not the best. I also ordered a latte that was more cappuccino than anything else.
The staff is nice but food took forever and was not good.
Sad to see this happen to a place that was once great. I no longer recommend.
Original review: I will forever come back for the Brioche Egg Sandwich ! It’s a 10/10 for me. I also really enjoyed the way the plates and mugs are specially made for the restaurant and have their cute logo.
We started with drinks — freshly squeezed orange juice and a horchata latte that was on point. For food, I ordered the chilaquiles with steak, and they nailed it. The salsa, the crunch, the seasoning on the steak… everything was exactly how I like it.
Portions were generous, the quality was high, and the pricing was excellent for what you get.
Definitely a spot I’d come back to for breakfast. Highly recommend!
