I stopped by here today to give it a try. I’m sure glad we did. The service was fantastic! We were cheerfully greeted as soon as we walked in. Everyone was super friendly and very attentive. I ordered the bistic ranchero plate. It was delicious . Also, the beans were very flavorful. My wife ordered the carne guisado plate special. She loved it as well. The only issue was that the carne guisado was very minimal, but for $6.99, it was still a great value. I then ordered the chicharron gordita, and wow, was it soooooo good. As a matter of fact, it was so good that I ordered a second one. It’s definitely a must try, and i highly recommend it. The restaurant itself is very nice and spacious and clean. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food that truly tastes homemade, this is the place to visit. Every dish feels like it was prepared with care and tradition. The customer service was excellent friendly, attentive, and welcoming. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and portions you get. Highly recommended for anyone craving real, home-style Mexican food.

This is a new place. So sweet. The staff was absolutely amazing! Feels so homey and the food was delicious! I went for breakfast with my kids and the experience was divine. 10/10 will be returning.

I was so disappointed with this restaurant! With all the great reviews, we decided to try it but never again! The food was cold and the barbacoa was super greasy with alot of fat! We couldn’t eat it and we returned the plates and they wanted to charge us anyway but give us a gordita instead. I said no way! Finally they charged us half price for each plate and pay for the.gorditas. we said fine! Gorditas took a long time to prepare. Needless to say, we will not go back!

Best Mexican food by far in the RGV. Authentic Mexican cuisine from Monterrey. Clean, wholesome atmosphere. Great value for the price. Everything made to order and great service. Mexican plate with fajita is a must try.

The comment I posted earlier about kitchen nightmares had nothing to do with this restaurant however I experienced the same issue with cold food. The owner was rather friendly and some of the food was good. I just would never blame the customer. My family and I will never ever go back there ever again.
