I travel all throughout the state for work, and one of my favorite things to get for lunch is a chinese lunch special. This was my first time going to Hunan Wok 2, and I will definitely be back next time im in the area. I ordered online using the beyond menu app, ordering was easy and when I arrived at the restaurant my food was hot and ready. I was promptly greeted by the guy working behind the counter who handed me my lunch. I ordered sesame chicken with white rice. I felt that the portions were generous for what I had paid. The chicken itself was crispy and delicious, it paired great with a can of coke! So often do you go to disappointing chinese spot that gives you mush, but not this place! They made my food with love, I can tell. Speaking of love, I genuinely believe this place deserves more love than what it gets here on Google reviews. They get 5 stars from me, and every star is earned. Don’t believe me? Go check them out for lunch!

Lived here for a while and never heard about this place, just smelled it driving by and decided to give it a shot. Food was GOOD! And decently priced. Choosing it again for our dinner tonight because our kids are asking for it again! My only wish would be creamier crab Rangoon’s. Loved the old school style of calling and having the restaurant deliver. You don’t find many like that anymore

First time ordering general Tso chicken, boneless spare ribs, sweet and sour chicken and crab Rangoon. The ribs had absolutely NO fat and were flavorful. The chicken wasn’t all breading and wasn’t greasy, decent size pieces of chicken. Crab Rangoon was delectable and didn’t taste like cream cheese like other places. Rice was bland. Overall the price was decent and everything was good and flavorful.

This is my Go to in my area , but I much prefer Hunan Wok in Portland CT their food is way better but this location is also really good and consistent with it . I love their pork fried Rice and chicken wings combo… and their sweet & sour chicken . Their customer service is great too. She knows me and knows what I order unless I choose to switch it up I get the same thing most the time … lol

Ordered delivery from this place and while placing order I paid with credit card. They said 40 mins ended up an hour then they want payment and we said we paid with credit card over the phone and then just started talking to whoever was in his ear and magically pulled out the credit card slip that needed signed. We finally get things sorted out and start eating his white rice was all mushy and my fried rice had no flavor or peas or carrots in it. Ruined our whole meal and was tossed. $40 down the drain

One of the best Chinese food restaurants I have ordered at lately! First time ordering here and we got general Tso chicken, boneless spare ribs, sweet and sour chicken and crab Rangoon. Food was tasty and portions were plentiful. Barley any fat on the boneless spare ribs!! Rice was basic but everything else was delicious! Another cool thing this restaurant does is they mix and match combination platters!
