Went here yesterday and had an amazing experience. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the service was great the whole time. The food was absolutely delicious. everything we tried was spot on and really well done.
You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the service. Definitely recommend it and will 100% be coming back!
Shoutout to Jomi, super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this spot. Will definitely be back!
We loved everything about this place. Really delicious and unique food offerings, beautiful building and excellent service.
Will definitely be coming back! Really loved the acevichado roll and the crab causa!
Killa Nikkei is hands down one of the most unique dining experiences in Salt Lake City. This isn’t your typical Peruvian restaurant — it’s different in a very good way. The Nikkei influence brings a fresh twist while still keeping the food authentic and deeply rooted in Peruvian flavor.
My wife is Peruvian, and she said nothing has reminded her more of home than eating here. That says everything. The flavors were bold, balanced, and clearly made with intention. You can tell they care about the quality and authenticity.
My only complaint: it was freezing cold inside. Almost everyone in the restaurant kept their coats on while eating. Also, for parties of two, one seat is a metal chair that feels like a prison bench while the other side is a cushioned seat. Minor issue but noticeable.
That said, the food is absolutely worth it. We will be back.
The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The Asian Tiradito was fresh and honestly one of the best things we ordered, it was super unique. The Chilean sea bass was just okay. Not bad, but I wouldn’t get it again.
Overall great experience. Definitely coming back for the steak and Tiradito.
As someone from Peru, this food really reminded me of home — the flavors, the freshness, the way everything comes together. You can tell it’s authentic and done right, not just a fusion for the name.
If you’re looking for something different, high quality, and unforgettable, this place is a must. Highly recommend
