This cute little place is in a strip mall but the place as a beachy island vibe. I got the huli huli chicken. It came with Mac salad and a scoop of white rice. They had a mini and a platter option which was nice because I was not super hungry but we knew we needed to get something. My nephew, who is not very adventurous got ordered off the kids menu and got a hamburger with cheese added and some fries. He gave it a 3.6 but said he was not very hungry and would have rated it higher if he was hungry. Lol I was super excited to see they had my favorite Hawaiian drink. I love everything lillikoi but they had several other flavors as well along with bottled tea, a few soda options, and water. No fountain drinks.

We wanted to break out of our routine and try something new, so we spotted this place and thought it looked promising. However, it didn’t quite live up to expectations. The Korean-style ribs had a bit of snap, but the flavor was lacking. The rice was incredibly bland, with no sauce or seasonings to enhance it, so I ended up melting some butter and adding salt and pepper to make it edible. The pasta salad, which was more like coleslaw, didn’t have much flavor and tasted a bit off. The spam sushi was decent, but I ended up discarding most of the rice.

The highlight of the meal was definitely the chicken—it had a delightful honey sauce and was genuinely delicious.

Overall, it’s not a meal I’d ever choose to have again. Given the glowing 4.6 rating in reviews, we were quite taken aback.

I forgot to mention the dumplings. They were actually really good.

In the world of culinary exploration, there are rarely times when you can call the visit a true “experience”. Today we had an “experience”.
Mother Nature changed our day plans from an outdoor festival to a day of cruising Gulf Blvd and trying this place after stumbling on it searching Google Maps. Amazing how that happens sometimes.

First, this is a slow time of the year on the beach, plus the weather was cruddy today. So, it wasn’t unexpected that the place wasn’t busy when we arrived.

What was unexpected was overwhelming warm feeling of Aloha upon arrival, followed by some of the best simple food we have ever devoured.

Clearly the man and woman running the establishment today were the owner and head “chef”, based on our conversations.

I had the Big Kahuna Platter (3 meats) with rice and macaroni salad (Hawaiian style, not “Southern”). Simply amazing! She had the Shoyu Chicken which was also part of my platter, but amazing none-the-less.

We each had a Spam Musubi which is a culinary trip you simply have to take! Love it!

They presented us with a generous free sampling of their Spam Fried Rice…Mind blown! You MUST try it!

So, overall it was one of those rare moments when every aspect of the visit simply fit together and everything was perfect.

It’s a small place, but I can see where they do a good business, and we will be sure to return soon…that breakfast menu with Guava Pancakes is calling my name!

Seen this place on TikTok, was in the area and decided to give it a try. So happy we did because WOW, the food, service and ambiance were amazing. The young man who was working was very attentive and made sure everything came out well. The Huli Huli Chicken plate was enough for two people. The chicken was so moist and delicious. The macaroni salad was also so tasty and refreshing. The Killa Kilauea Fries were amazing as well. The basket was clean after my husband ate them! I definitely recommend Aloha To go! We will be back for sure.

Just go! We stopped in before hitting the beach and we were blown away. Good BBQ is hard to find, and Aloha was awesome! Had both types of ribs which were both fantastic. Will definitely return! The manager was great to talk with and shared prep methods etc…. highly recommended!

Aloha To Go is hands-down one of our favorite spots in Indian Rocks Beach! Their Huli Huli chicken is absolutely incredible—so flavorful and tender. My boyfriend and I can’t get enough of it! The portions are generous, the food is always fresh, and the staff is super friendly. Every time we come here, it feels like a little taste of Hawaii by the beach. Highly recommend!

Amazing food! I got the sampler that had three meats, rice, macaroni salad, and slaw. Every portion was generous aside from the beef but it was honestly so much food I could hardly gripe about that. It was all so well prepared and delicious. I also tried, and thoroughly enjoyed the Spam Musubi. Definitely give them a try if you are anywhere near one of their locations!

Always love the food at this place, it never disappoints. Great selections, and big portions is why I continue to come back after 11 years.

My only complaints are the place has A/C, but it’s usually never working for the customers. I feel for the workers behind the fryers because it’s so hot for them, and they have to open the door. I am not kidding that during busy times it could be above 80 degrees inside the restaurant.

There used to be an ice machine, but it always ran out of ice. It was like that for a few years, now they have a cooler for the drinks, and lastly, the bathroom. Only one bathroom and it was usually not working for customers, let alone for the staff there.

I know this place makes good money because it is always busy, but I wish the A/C could be fixed for the workers and the whole restaurant.

I don’t freely give away 5stars.
We were looking for something a little different to eat after a market we attended in Indian Shores. We were greeted nicely when we entered and the owner was extremely nice and bubbly. Establishment was pretty clean. The ambience was okay not very fancy or interesting.
The selection of food was great. We ordered a short rib platter and a chicken platter. Everything came out extremely tasty and delicious. Everything had great flavor and the portions was of a good size. One of the most important things to me was that the food wasn’t very salty. We did substitute a couple things on the chicken platter. One was the mixed vegetables which was very very good. And we also added a fried rice to the chicken platter. On the short rib platter we substituted the pineapple coleslaw for the macaroni salad. It’s definitely a place worth going to if you’re in the area.

Extremely disappointed with this place. The first time I tried it I thought it was exceptional but the two times since have not been. My last experience was the nail in the coffin. I ordered the chicken Katsu and it was completely dried out even the extra sauce I asked for didn’t help. The macaroni salad was bland and only palatable when I added salt. But my biggest pet peeve was the lack of fried rice. When I ordered it I was never told they were out they just decided to add an extra scoop of bland white rice and hope I wouldn’t notice? Extremely disappointing.
