The Tillery is a presentation from the moment you walk up to it. From the restaurants sign, the auto opening doors to the lobby beautiful!! Once checked in you are taken to your seats by the hostess. Since it was my first time here he gave a history of the place and it’s chef. Our waiter was pleasant and inviting. Our food of choice was crab dip, the NY style steak and the Maryland Crabcake, drinks Margarita & Old Fashion. All was seasoned and cooked well, and drinks were strong. Three complaints: For the cost of the steak the quality was subpar and presentation wasnt great( look at photo). The ambiance was beautiful but the couches could have used cleaning. The reservations was for a birthday celebration and dessert wasn’t offered until we mentioned. Over all a nice restaurant will come back for the Brunch experience. So if in the area try them out.

Not worth the money. Wish we would have spent Valentine’s Day dinner anywhere else but here. The drinks were the only redeeming quality. The service as terrible, the brisket gnocchi had way too much salt, and the chocolate cake was dry. The food overall was subpar, for sure not worth $140. 10/10 don’t recommend, our server only came to our Table to take our order, drop off the food, and check. Super disappointed we wasted $223.

They’ve changed the dinner menu and what my friend and I ordered was not good. I wasn’t going to leave a review but I had to. Hopefully this will help the chef(s) do better. My chicken was undercooked and the gravy was extremely salty. I wish I had tasted it before pouring it over my food. This was my first meal of the day so I was hungry and I ate the deboned part of the chicken until I realized it was undercooked. The mushrooms were also too salty. The mushroom butter was unique but it was also too salty. The smashed potatoes were also undercooked. I brought it to the attention of management and while they took 20% off my bill, they could’ve taken more accountability. I doubt I’ll ever go back but I do hope they improve the cooking. When I decide to dine out, I am expecting to enjoy the food that I am paying for. That’s the part that upsets me the most. The service from our waiter was good though.

We stayed at the Marriott and decided to try the restaurant right inside — and wow, what a great choice! I had the cheeseburger and a lemon drop martini, and both were absolutely delicious. Honestly, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, too. We’d highly recommend it if you’re in the area!

The Tillery’s New Management Is Ruining the Best Thing They Had!
I’ve been coming to The Tillery for years, and let me be very clear: Tanay is the only reason I go there. She is the longest‑tenured bartender, the most consistent, the most professional, and the only person behind that bar who actually knows how to make a drink correctly every single time. Her service is the one bright spot in an establishment that has otherwise become increasingly chaotic and disappointing.
The food has always been hit‑or‑miss, and honestly, mostly miss. The menu changes constantly, but somehow the dishes stay lackluster and unimaginative. The only thing I’ve ever enjoyed consistently are the Old Bay wings. Everything else has been forgettable at best. Because of that, I only come on Mondays or Wednesdays — specifically because that’s when Tanay is usually working.
But ever since the new manager arrived a few months ago, everything has gone downhill. Tanay’s schedule has been completely disrupted, and she hasn’t been there for weeks. It’s incredibly frustrating to deal with a stressful job all day, look forward to unwinding at my usual spot, only to show up and find out — again — that she’s not there because someone decided to play musical chairs with the schedule for no apparent reason. There were never issues with her service. None. So why fix what wasn’t broken?
The “Valentine’s/Singles” event on 2/4 was the final straw. It was poorly planned, poorly executed, and honestly embarrassing. The specialty drinks were inconsistent and tasted terrible — and later I found out from a friend that when the person who actually created the drinks made them, they tasted great. That alone speaks volumes about the lack of training and consistency among the staff. A drink recipe should not depend on who happens to be standing behind the bar.
And the overall atmosphere? Disorganized. Discombobulated. Constantly changing managers, constantly shifting schedules, and absolutely no sense of stability. I have never seen this place run so poorly. It feels like every new manager comes in and immediately makes things worse.
I’m tired of wasting my time, gas, and energy coming here only to be disappointed. Life is already stressful enough — I don’t need the added frustration of an establishment that can’t get the basics right. Until management gets it together and stops disrupting the few things that actually work, I’m done.

The food is typically great but not this time…
I ordered a kids chicken tenders with a side Cesar salad on Thursday and got something totally different Friday (literally the next day).
Unfortunately, I didn’t find this out until Saturday when I was ready to eat it.
What was nicely cut and battered chicken breast on Thursday became chicken tenders with weird looking meat once you broke it open.
I had called about the issue Saturday morning and when no one returned my call, I went to the restaurant myself. According to the managers, apparently because Thursday was Christmas, the chicken tenders were freshly prepared and what I received on Friday is what they normally have.
But I’ve gotten chicken tenders for my nephew numerous times and it’s never looked like this fake chicken they gave me.
Honestly just a waste of money…and the chicken is going in the trash because God only knows what it’s made of.

Went for a late breakfast on Tuesday.
Over all the atmosphere is the hotel. It’s nice as to be expected. It was cold inside the wait staff were pretty fast. The food was fresh and hot. My eggs were not scramble dry as I requested and the turkey bacon was a second away from burned. The potatoes were good, the pancakes were good too the blue berries were wilted like they were old so I couldn’t eat them ! I love the crispy edges.
Hubby got a omelette which was served with potatoes and was good! I would like to go back but not for breakfast.

Shawanna was amazing. She knew everything about the menu & helped us pick out the best dinner. Everything came out exactly how she described. Shawanna has earned a consistent customer out of me, I live 5 min away & will be here more often!

The Tillery is located in the Owings Mills Marriott. It’s decorated beautifully and has a nice intimate ambiance. I went for brunch on a Sunday and enjoyed it. I watched the NFL game afterwards, not the best place for watching the game but otherwise nice.
