My husband loves Lobsterfest and even with the busyness of Valentines Day, he thought it would be worth trying to go as long as we had a reservation. How wrong that turned out to be. Despite having a 7:15 reservations and us checking repeatedly about seating; with apparently more people complaining loudly and getting seated immediately after they stopped calling our reservation times and going to a paper system. We finally seated at 9 and ate at 10 pm. Food was fine, although shrimp barely warm, wait staff was apologetic and not to blame here. However we will likely never be back.

Kathy was fantastic! From the moment we were seated, she was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. She made us feel welcomed and ensured everything was taken care of without being overbearing. Our drinks were always refilled promptly, and she checked in at the perfect times to make sure our food was exactly how we wanted it.
What stood out most was her positive attitude and attention to detail. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and made the entire dining experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and truly care about her customers.

My family came to the Red Lobster on Barry road for my Husband’s Birthday. It was a wonderful experience and we had a lovely server named Skylin who was so attentive, very friendly, and gave great recommendations. The food was fantastic and we took leftovers home

We love Red Lobster. I have been visiting this location for over 30 years. They were strugglingbfir awhile and we stopped going for about a year. They have upped their game, offering coupons, more specials etc. Food was hot and delivered fairly fast. Our server seemed a bit distracted and we had to ask for a few things several times. But I only saw one other server so I’m assuming they were cutting help as it was a slower weeknight. I dont fault servers when they are busy and obviously trying their best. Resteraunt mgr makes the call on how many employees are needed per shift. Atmosphere is always good here. Noise level isn’t bad and we like to sit and enjoy a cocktail after eating so it is nice being able to chat. Not sure what is going on with the company’s financial state but I hope they are able to remain open as I heard they closed quite a few places. Still my favorite Seafood place in Kansas City.

Good vibes, fast food, best company. We came to celebrate a birthday and the cheddar biscuits are still super good! The service was a bit meh, but not terrible. My partner did not enjoy their lobster bisque and said it tasted like banana bread.

Ashle provided exceptional service with a pleasant demeanor. She attentively listened to my wife and me as we engaged in lighthearted conversation. I observed her consistently deliver excellent service to all her tables. Chuck, the cook that evening, demonstrated outstanding culinary skill. My dinner was the finest I have ever experienced at any Red Lobster establishment. We extend our gratitude to both of you for a wonderful evening.

Table of 10. I highly recommend not going here for big tables .. our salads came with our food we had to ask for our bread. My fiancé didn’t get his drink until the food. We waited 30 min for an alcoholic beverage, we payed 400$ for our food and left a 40$ tip to be kind but not good service at all. My fiancé went to bathroom and he went up to the waiter and asked if a tip was left he said no so he gave him 60$ when we just tipped him 40$ so he got a 100$ tip and did not deserve it after he lied and said he didn’t get a Tip when I left him 40$ already. I serve everyday I’m a waitress myself . I always check back with my customers. I’m very upset and we will not be back here .name is Pedro . I’m very upset my fiancé asked you if you were left a tip and you said no. When I left you 40 And went outside and waited . I do not complain . I don’t write bad reviews . I’m a waitress myself I know these are important for the business very disappointing .

Great ambiance from the moment we walked in until we left. The staff was kind and attentive throughout our meal. The appetizers were delicious, and the alcoholic beverage was amazing. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience.

We got some Happy Hour specials for drinks and an appetizer, which she was sure to mention and explain once we were sat. I had some specific questions about the spicy rating on the shrimp boil and she had some very helpful feedback (I don’t trust the 3 chili pepper indicator of “really spicy” on most menus). The food was great and I really enjoyed seeing the new menu options.
We had plenty of food, attentive service, and patience at check-ins that allowed us to enjoy our meal at a comfortable pace. We went around 3 for a late lunch/early dinner so it certainly wasn’t packed or loud, but Kathy was serving our whole section and kept up with everyone really well.
