There’s a reason this unit get terrible reviews. This is a large tropichop. There’s almost no chicken and the tomatoes are going bad.

We came in near the end of the night and understood that some items might be running low, but there were still about 35 minutes left until closing. Unfortunately, we were treated very poorly by the staff.
We were given very small portions of food, even though there was still an entire tray of rice available. On top of that, we ordered four salt soups, and they had literally no vegetables or chicken left in them—just broth. That is completely unacceptable, especially when charging full price.
The experience felt rushed, unwelcoming, and dismissive. Customer service and food quality should still matter until the actual closing time. I’ve included a photo to show the portion we were given.

I had an excellent experience at Pollo Tropical, even through the drive-thru. The staff was incredibly helpful, cheerful, and kind from start to finish. Truly outstanding service.
The food was delicious. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, juicy, and very well cooked. And the beans—wow. They tasted just like the ones my grandma used to make, with that same old-fashioned, homemade flavor.
For a family meal, the value is unbelievable and very affordable. This is easily one of the best Pollo Tropical locations I’ve ever visited. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The only decent thing I can say about this location is that the lobby is clean. As I’ve been waiting for my food for the past 15 minutes , i notice the communication between the employees is extremely poor ; language barrier included, as a man with color I would appreciate them trying to understand me and take my order. I feel dismissed when I walk up and someone looks at me and just walks away at least try to communicate with me ? The food isn’t the problem at this point

Received great service on 12/16/25 so I returned with co workers on 12/17/25 and the service was so horrible that the young lady working the drive thru ended up assisting us which was very nice of her. They gave us cilantro sauce with no covers which caused it to spill on our food and the communication between them was bad. The red shirt manager was cursing one of the employees out and complaining about one of the customers orders. She seemed pretty upset to the point we all noticed. Very unprofessional!

It’s ok. Typical Pollo Tropical not the worst and not the best. I really dislike the shade of green color they use on walls. It’s not an appetizing color and makes every PT feel dirtier than the place really is. IMHO bright orange, yellow, and red are much better choices.

I’ve never seen meanest employees in any fast food place. The workers are too young to appreciate their jobs or to understand that clients are #1. They treated me with a despondent demeanor, no greeting when I arrived at the cashier, I asked for tomato on my Tropi-chop and the meanest attendant threw 5 mini pieces on the dish. I will never ever go there.!!!
