This was by far our favorite place we ate at in NOLA. We came here 3 times, my bf got the banana foster french toast every time & we both agree it’s the BEST french toast we’ve had. We tried banana foster french toast at another popular breakfast place in the french quarter & it wasn’t nearly as good. I got the shrimp pobody, fried chicken sandwich, and omelette sandwich. All cooked perfectly and so delicious. Omelette sandwich was my fav! Also, surprisingly the best poboy we got. Tried a shrimp poboy at two other popular highly rated restaurants in the french quarter & this was definitely the best one. Very friendly & comfortable environment & very clean. If you go early in the morning there’s little to no wait (you’ll obviously have better luck on weekdays) but worth a wait in our opinion. Prices r reasonable for the quality.

Great food and an excellent location! The omelet sandwich was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place—it’s within walking distance of so many attractions.

This was a favorite of ours on a recent trip to NOLA. It was crazy cold while we were there and the fact that this place had Lattes for the adults and hot chocolate for the kids was just the first sign that this would be a winner.

We tried a variety of things including the red beans & rice, vegan gumbo (oyster allergy), sweet potato fries, boudin croquettes, 2 kids meals (burger & chicken bites each with fries), bacon burger, and the bananas foster French toast. It was all hot and delicious, but my personal faves were the gumbo, red beans & rice, and the french toast. Nothing but praise for the food.

Stanley is easily located on a corner of Jackson Square, and there are no shortage of interesting things to see on the square as you eat. Service was also fantastic, but do note that if you in a party greater than 6 your table will be charged an automatic 20% gratuity. I had zero problems with that, as I hate seeing waitstaff stiffed. I did have a problem with the fact that when I went to pay the bill, it kept trying to have me add an additional tip (on top of the 20% it automatically added) to the total and would not allow me to change the amount (I tried multiple amounts and in a variety of ways, but it reverted to a default amount), so our server ended up with a $58 tip for $120 meal. (Don’t be like me and try to figure it out … call the waiter back over and patiently explain, “you are fabulous, but i’d rather not give you a tip that amounts to half of our meal.”) That issue aside (which would be enough to sour the whole experience for some, and was poorly done by Stanley- hence the lowering of a star), the food was fantastic. I’d go back again, but not with a party greater than 4.

This is my favorite place for so many things. On the lunch side, the best gumbo, best red beans, best fried oysters and best club sandwiches. The breakfast menu is outstanding, too.
Beautiful restaurant overlooks Jackson Square. The staff is exceptionally friendly.

This place is fantastic! They make a delicious Bloody Mary, and the Omelet Sandwich was incredible – packed with ham, bacon, cheese, and a spicy mayo. Great service, fun atmosphere!

It was a great experience. From the hostess tp our server Caleb. Prices are high but its expected in a tourist driven scene. They are fast with seating and do bot compromise fast with quality. Both were good. Recommend the Breaux Bridge benedict and bloody mary. Cheers.

Whilst the food was great, the service was somewhat lacking. Very few smiles & functional. Plenty of other places to choose from…..
