My husband and I came here for breakfast today we were immediately seated and our order was placed. I got the biscuit and bacon sandwich with home fries my husband got bacon, eggs and potatoes. Both of the dishes there was plenty of food. The biscuit was so big and so delicious. Everything was good. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast.

My husband and I had breakfast at Amphora Diner the day after Christmas. The place was absolutely packed, so I expected a long wait—but to my surprise, our waiter took our order immediately, and our food was out in about 15 minutes. I ordered the egg white veggie omelette, which was excellent—full of flavor and very generous in portion size. Even with the busy crowd, the food was fantastic, and the service was even better. A great experience all around!

We couldn’t any better from Amphora and Xóchitl! Amphora came in clutch when our first vendor we thought we would go with didn’t pan out to be all that and having to book Amphora basically a month out from our wedding. She was able to answer back our emails and inquiring a quote EXTREMELY quick which we needed and everything was out of this world. From the moment we met Xóchitl and from when she arrived for our wedding we loved her being our caterer. She was so attentive to what our wants and needs were for the wedding and it was a flawless execution throughout the process. For anyone needed a cater for ANY event they should go to Amphora! The tenderloin and salmon options is our favorites among their menu at the time. We really thank you guys for giving us the most perfect experience for not only us but for our guests too! We loved it all ❤️

A very good restaurant with a delightful owner. It has most varied menu you will find anywhere! American, Italian, Greek, Mediterranean. Check the menu out on line. Had the “Island Hopper” with three geek specialties and all were excellent. Some of the best Greek food I’ve had. Be sure to try the warm Baklava you will not be disappointed

To be honest, I haven’t had the privilege of eating here yet, but I am a delivery driver and was assigned an order here.

Due to a common glitch in the service I used (can’t say which, sorry, never a good idea to negatively identify your employer publicly) the order was received only seconds after my arrival so I had to wait a little.

During that time I was lucky enough to watch several tables’ trays of food brought out and WOW! The food presentation and the aroma almost had me floating through the air after them Looney Tunes style! I’ve spent years as a professional line cook, this nose KNOWS, and what the sheer heaven I smelled?

Don’t let the “Diner” in the name bring up associations of your typical greasy spoon or casual diner, either. This is a crystal wine glass level establishment with a diner theme.

Amphora is spotlessly clean with an equally immaculately dressed (Think 50s soda jerk with the spotless white shirt and coat black bowtie) and well groomed staff!

As a rough around the edges Texas redneck wearing 501s and a graphics tee I felt pretty out of place at first, but every single staff member that passed me by and saw me standing around asked me if I needed any help and just made me feel incredibly welcome, even after knowing I wasn’t a paying customer. From the the host, to the servers, to the gentleman taking phone orders to the manager, everyone stopped to make sure I was being taken care of.

Imagine how they’ll treat you if you’re actually paying them!

Definitely taking my next date here to impress even if it’s a little off the beaten path for me (35min) and a little pricey it’s worth the trip.

And don’t miss out on their baked goods selection!

The exterior is really neat. It looks like a great old timey, type of diner. Inside the seating areas are about decent with booths and chairs. But the atmosphere was missing that special touch you normally get from a diner. Nothing really special.

The service was less than attentive. It appeared there was only one waiter for the entire restaurant and there were about 20 or so customers. The only time I spoke to the waiter was getting water, ordering, receiving the order, and getting my bill. The waiter did apologize for not coming around more, so that was a plus.

The food definitely left a lot to be desired. I was actually still hungry after eating. I had the chicken and waffles with a side of 2 eggs and a milkshake. The fried chicken was overly fried, and the sauce on the chicken and waffles was unusual but palatable. Thankfully, they did not charge for the peanut butter. (If you haven’t had peanut butter on waffles, you’re missing out. The eggs were fine and properly cooked.

Now the milkshake. In what I consider the pinnacle of every restaurant that considers itself a diner was woefully missing in the mark in this case. You could actually drink t”he “milkshake” from a normal sized straw. It was not thick. It had the consistency of just milk with chocolate. I had ordered the Triple shake. It had a dab of whipped cream and a smaller amount of chocolate, butterscotch, and white chocolate chips on top. This was definitely not a food combo. As for the amount, this was the first time I’ve never received the leftovers in the tin can.

Hopefully, this was just a bad day since they seemed short-handed. Maybe I’ll get another chance to give a higher recommendation.

FYI-if you happen to visit during the winter and do not like being cold while you eat, do not sit by the windows!!! Since there were tables available in the middle of the restaurant, we were able to move.

The food was delicious! It is a bit pricey so be mindful of that. If you ask for something other than what comes with the meal, it can be an additional $5+. You do get your money’s worth and they cook everything the way you like.

We did not have room for dessert but everything looked delicious! We will be going back and I recommend this Diner!

Group of 7 in a snow storm ranging from age 6 to 70’s. Would not serve beer, allegedly because of the storm. Suspicious reasoning, bad start. We found the kids menu a little lacking and the place was empty so we inquired about making a kids salmon meal. Server said yes… Brought out a piece of fish and large portions of broccoli and mashed potatoes. The bill came and we were charged nearly $30 for a la carte priced food. Comically ridiculous, as an adult salmon dinner was $22 or $23.
As for the food it was ok, I guess about what one would expect for average diner food. But nobody was wowed with their plate except for the large portions.

The service is a bit clumsy and the food isn’t special but it’s good comfort food and consistent regardless of what time you dine in. This type of atmosphere is rare to find so that makes it a gem
