The food and service is always great!
This new look not so inviting! The white paint is okay however the lack of history on the walls as in the past is definitely missing. It used to be fascinating to walk into the different restaurants around the states to see what would be on the walls.
The history of years past made it welcoming. The tables missing the lanterns and the peg game is also a miss. It was fun while waiting for the food to come out. The lanterns added a warm feel of what life was like back in the day.
I hope you bring these things back.
Also you have discontinued items in the shop. Mainly for me the HYDROX COOKIES!! PLEASE BRING THEM BACK!! They are a happy memory from my childhood. I always bought two or three packages when I was in, and I was in quite often. I don’t eat OREOS,they are gross once you have had a HYDROX!

Update! My experience changed! The waitress immediately waited on myself & brother! The food tasted great & our waitress was awesome! Completely different experience! Thank you!
First time eating here in a year. Won’t be back. Waited for 10 minutes & nobody waited on us. Too busy cleaning the half empty lobby. This is why this franchise is failing! Loved this place…but not anymore! I’ve visited two separate locations & each time was a miserable experience.

We have always enjoyed the food at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store but in the past have suffered slow service. This was no problem at this location. The food was very good and came out in a very timely manner. The atmosphere is like an old general store, with tons of items to look at. We were very pleased with the food, service and atmosphere.

My wife and I stopped late (after 8pm, they close at 9) after attending a Show Choir compilation our grandson was in. The waitress was super nice, the food (we ordered breakfast) was simply outstanding!!! The best food we have enjoyed at a Cracker Barrel in forever. We will definitely eat it this one again

We frequent the St Joseph location once every few months. This morning we stopped in on our way out of town for Thanksgiving breakfast. Our waitress was Beth and she was amazing! Didn’t miss a beat on refills, making sure the food was great, and she was so sweet and friendly! By far one of the best waitresses, besides Stormy, that we’ve had in such a long time! And I mean anywhere at other restaurants, Beth and Stormy have got to be the best ones we’ve had the pleasure of being served by. Great job to those 2 ladies!

Stopped in near closing, been traveling and was staying at the Hampton Inn around the corner. My server, Stormy was fantastic and helped me get a favorite item no longer on the menu (chopped steak w/ 2 sides meal). Very personable, prompt and friendly. You can tell by the stars on the apron she is excellent and the best at customer service! Even though it was 30 min before closing, no rush or hurry. Fantastic visit and will be sure to stop again when traveling through.

What the difference of staff makes. We had a great dinner taking eggs cooked just right . Catfish, apple slices muffins and cornbread couple of soft drinks for less than $40. Plus we got to park the motorhome in a nice quiet spot at no cost. Thank you, Cracker Barrel.

Me and my father stopped here for breakfast while we were traveling. We ordered the NY strip. i ordered it medium well , but it really came out well done since my steak was fully cooked and dry. It was still a good breakfast. Chefs!!! Please make the NY strip juicy and tender next time!

Raina, our Server, was great. The hosts who greeted us, and Frankie, at the counter, were awesome. The cashier who processed my bill seemed to have excuses instead of resolutions when items charged incorrectly and our promo code hadn’t been received. Some of the food was great. The rest was average, at best.
