Went with two other families to this delicious and authentic Tex-Mex Jalisco style Mexican food Cocina.
Had my favorite dish to try. Menudo. Crazy crazy crazy good.
Now I know not everyone is a Menudo head like myself, but good menudo is a good indication that their other dishes are up to par. We all had something different and everyone was extremely happy with their food.
The young lady serving us was also a delight. Friendly and old school. She definitely deserves proper tipping from her patrons.
The atmosphere was small, cheap, and “hole in the wall” in the most pleasant way. Most definitely found another Mexican food restaurant without the same old same kind of blah.

The chicken and cheese pupusas were delicious. Tea was great and the chips and salsa as well! I love how crunchy and thick the chips are. Super convenient for me because I work 3 minutes from location and Pupusas are my favorite!

HIDDEN GEM!!! Atmosphere was welcoming, waitress was very patient and attentive, the FOOD great. So much flavor, portion size was good and delicious. We got a variety of things since it was our first time & this place did not disappoint! Pozole, beans, ceviche, salsa, enchiladas! Everything was OMG. Definitely will be keeping this place in mind when I come through Victoria again.

The Pozole and the Chicharron taco was absolutely amazing!!! The food was top of the line tasting. You can taste the freshness and homemade ingredients in the food. One of theeee best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever tried and I’ve been to many. I never leave reviews but this one I honestly just had to. If there was and over 5 star button I would be pressing it lol. I can’t wait to try their breakfast now. Definitely coming back any time I pass through Victoria again.

I’m begin by saying that this was our first time visiting. The menu looked promising, the parking lot was well lit. And plenty of seats. Everything started off great, quick service with chips and salsa and drinks. However once the food order was placed everything changed. I feel like maybe racial profiling? Customers that came in well after we placed our order got there food 20 minutes before we did. A large table of 6 are getting multiple plates brought out by one person.Here is the biggest catch. The first kids plate arrives, chicken tenders and fries. 5 minutes go by, the second kids plate arrives. 2 chicken enchiladas. Another 5 minutes a single bowl of pepper gravy for the tenders. Another 5 minutes and my plate comes out. At this point we ask how much longer for my wife’s plate. We are told 5 more minutes for shrimp tacos. Another 5 minutes goes by and I’m given a bowl of charro beans. At this point we ask for my wife’s order to be changed to a to go order, and if you guessed that it was another 5 minutes before we got it given to us, you would be correct. In total we spent over an hour while others got food, ate, paid and left before we ever did.

We were greeted right away. The dining area was clean well kept. They had a great selection of drink choices and the menu is a little different that their other location. The chips and salsa were very good but didnt really pica. I ordered the Enmoladas, very good. I will say the molé was a little sweet for me, but had a very good depth of flavor. My friend had the Menudo and a barbacoa taco and really enjoyed it. I’m definitely coming back!

First time getting food here. Took it to go. The lady that greeted me at the door, very polite. Got the Burrito Gringo with the rice. Perfectly seasoned, great flavor. Also got the Charro beans. Spot on with flavor. Great price for the quality of food. Will be back weekly.

Guys this is the spot! I hate to make it a competition but I’ll say at least this is my favorite Mexican restaurant right now and just one of my favorites all around. Everything is made with care and offers a refreshing take on the usual mexican cuisine this town is used to. I don’t know who you are Scott West but you are wrong, I don’t value your opinion, I give 1 star. Great restaurant though.

Breakfast tacos were the best I’ve had in a long time! There was plenty on them and they tasted great! The red and green sauces were really good as well and the girl at the window was sweet. Highly recommended!
