Catfish Kettle was a cool vibe, affordable and family-friendly solid option if you’re in the area and craving good comfort food. It’s definitely not vegan or pescatarian friendly, but the customer service was cool and welcoming. The food came out hot, flavorful, and with pleasantly generous portions. The drinks were huge and on the sweeter side, which some may enjoy. While it’s not a place we’d necessarily go out of our way to return to, we also wouldn’t recommend against it. A decent stop for what it is.

Very nice hometown restaurant. Quaint and very hospitable. All of the food was really good! The service was awesome!!! Coconut shrimp was some of the best I’ve had. Hush puppies are a tad sweet, not my style. Northern beans were seasoned very well. Definitely will be returning.

Ive been here a few times and its always good. The wait for a table was about 20 minutes but its worth the wait. The food is good. I get the 6 piece fish and clam straps as an appetizer. If you are ever in the area I recommend this place.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the young hostess at the front. The atmosphere felt inviting and laid-back, and the service only made it better. My waitress, Susan, was phenomenal. It was my first time there, so I had plenty of questions, and she answered every single one with patience and a smile. She didn’t forget a thing I asked for and made sure I was well taken care of the entire time.
Now, let’s talk about the food — exceptional. I ordered the catfish fillets, and they were fried to absolute perfection. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and served in a generous portion that left me more than satisfied. The plate also came with hush puppies, sweet pickles, onions, tartar sauce, and a few other tasty sides — everything was fresh and flavorful.
This spot might fly under the radar, but it’s easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Great service, amazing food, and excellent value. Catfish Kettle is a solid five out of five stars in my book!

I hadn’t been back to the Catfish Kettle in like 20 years. And oh boy was it worth the nostalgia and amazing food to trek an hour south to dine in recently. The fish and chicken were delicious and our server was attentive. Those hushpuppies are perfection! Glad to see that some things have stayed the same. Well worth the stop to eat here for good ole southern comfort foods.

The bathrooms and the lock on the bathrooms definitely need to be fixed too many mishaps trying to wait for the restroom and then going into the restroom others accidentally walked in. This happened to multiple people.

Prices have gone up significantly quality of the food is better we couldn’t believe we left there without any grease on our fingers we didn’t have to even wash our hands they were clean after eating fish and chicken. The only downside was that even though they have the best hush puppies around they put way too much sugar in them which is why they didn’t get a five star rating. Very good service hired hump is very friendly. Very family oriented feel. A very popular place to eat in that town I call it a landmark.

We love this place its severed hot and lots of food, its old time cooking the menu has a lot to choose from, its a family restaurant it has lots of sitting its ♿️ friendly and the all you can eat allows you to also take home all your food on your table, that fried chicken, catfish,baby shrimp you can get all their side dishes too or pick only what you want , they will offer more protein half way through your meal its just delicious food I recommend 5 this is a must to try & the bowl is gumbo tasty very good ,
