Lemongrass gives good food at decent prices! But what i love the most is:
1. They have REALLY QUICK service. Its a sit down restaurant but the food comes quite quickly.
2. The ambience is amazing. Its calm, relaxing and cosy.
3. The service is perfect.

My favorite so far is the pad Thai (Not in the pictures)

Pork belly with scallions is a must have and Thai spicy beef are my preferred dishes here. Not sure why they’re never busy when the food is amazing, it’s probably a hidden gem. Hopefully this post will help them out.

We were just passing through Charlottesville and had a craving for some Thai food. We stopped at Lemongrass and had some of the best Thai food we have ever had! I had the mango curry. The waitress was so polite and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

The woman who was serving is really nice. I ordered Shrimp Drunken Noodles. She mistakenly served chicken one. When I informed that they immediately changed it. Also offered the previous drunken noodles for free.
Food was delicious and healthy.

nice place if you would like some Japanese food but your friends want to eat Thai food. Recommend Godzilla Roll, pineapple fried rice, and salmon donburi. I tried their pad Thai once and it was a little bit dry, maybe it’s just a onetime thing.

One of the best restaurants in all of Charlottesville. Super affordable, yet the quality and taste is 5/5. Not to mention the staff are super kind and welcoming.

Lemongrass on the Uva corner is solid Thai food. The food we ordered was very flavorful and consistent across all of the items we ordered. I loved the Drunken Noodles and the family enjoyed Pad Thai and other items. That this is a family business shows in the careful attention they put into the food we received. We will be back and this is most likely one of our go to places for carryout or dinner now as we love solid Thai Food and Lemongrass everything we had was on point.

Everything positive you read in other reviews about this establishment, I’m echoing the same. Will be back!

I feel bad leaving a criticism but the Tom kha gai soup tasted weak and bad, like they didn’t sweeten it with coconut milk. The avocado salad was boring but pretty good, haven’t had the mango rice yet but it looks like a ripoff for the price. Get your Tom kha gai at Pineapple, or Bangkok zone, or Lime Leaf….

Start of 2024, taken over by new management. I dont think they do spice levels anymore, because I ordered a green curry at Thai-hot level and it was bland, kind of watered down. They gave a “hot sauce” on the side that was definitely not hot either. Shame, because, their flavors were very authentic before and the heat levels very legit. I was a regular, but I don’t think I will be coming back without Thai-level heat on their foods.
Service is good however, and the restaurant space is nice, can accommodate large groups.
