Dined at Uncle Julio’s recently, what a great experience! The vibrant atmosphere paired with colorful decor and lively staff made for a fun vibe.
The food was spectacular! Fresh guacamole, sizzling fajitas, and killer margaritas that paired perfectly.
Service is where I was really left speechless. Our waiter Sheily was awesome, attentive, and spot-on with recommendations. Even more importantly the general manager John was stellar. He checked in personally and asked about our food and the experience we had, super nice employee and even gave some recommendations to try on our next visit.
A true gem for authentic Mexican eats. Five stars. I’ll be back!!!

This location is always a sure bet for food . They consistently deliver. The chicken fajitas perfectly cooked never dry. Our waitress Sheila went over board in welcoming us even fix our patio slightly off balance table to her congenial smile. The only down side is their margarita prices versus others . Their value is a bit high.
My partners food equally embarrasses ! Flavor , amount, seasoning was a great value . Her carnitas is reason we come back.

I have not eaten here in years and I really am sad! Food and service was great. I got the combination plate with 2 enchiladas and a taco. Seasoned very well and perfect choice. My nephew got a different 2 enchilada plate with rice and beans and he also enjoyed it I need to stop by here more often, food is excellent

Went here the other night with my boyfriend for the first time and it was great!! Honestly everything we had was delicious. From the chips and salsa to the honey habanero shrimp. I definitely recommend the quesa-birria and the crab and shrimp enchiladas, they were so so good!! Our waitress and the other servers were also very kind and attentive. The atmosphere was also very calm and nice. We will definitely be back soon!!

This was one of the best experiences I have had at any Uncle Julio’s. Jack W. is an amazing manager and his service is Chef’s Kiss. I had the honey-glazed salmon and it was extremely favorable. We asked for Topo Chico, but they didn’t have it. One group member received a plastic cup when they brought the water because they had run out of glasses.
The red salsa had facial hair in it. And my salad was made of canned corn.
The only good thing was the table-side guacamole and the queso.
To top everything up, the water refill bottles were disgusting!
I used to love this place but won’t come back.

The restaurant itself looks good but the foods and service were really under par. My hot water mug was delivered with a large lip stick stains. The waitress was busy, so I let it go, yet she chose to take her sweet time to sweep the floor after the big group left rather than serving our 4-person table first after we had been waiting for her attention for a long time. The beef in my Guadalajara plate ($35 plate) was tough (likely due to the waitress delaying in sending our foods to our table), the enchilada was too salty. It is Monday night with a 7:15 pm reservation/arrival, but we didn’t get our water until 7:34, our foods after 8:30, and our check came super slowly as well. This was my first time at Uncle Julio’s. It was a very disappointing experience. FYI – prior to this, I had only written very few reviews in 36 years of living in Dallas. I have to write this because a 4.1 stars restaurant should have done a much better job in staffing, foods, and cleaning their mugs.
