What a treat.
Cordon Blue Poppers were delicious take on the original. Crunchy and hot out of the oil.

First timers here, had a great experience food was prepared perfectly and the steaks cooked to perfection definitely isnt his first time on the grill. Server was extremely good and was seated quickly no wait times. Would definitely come again, we had the Ol ribeye and the new york strip both perfectly cooked med rare. Appy was stuffed mushrooms good add a little garlic to it and it would be even better i think but definitely worth it.

Next to the line of antique stores on Alameda is this very supper club kinda restaurant. American food, lots of seatings and always packed. Loved their Holiday decorations. Our favorite were the cordon blu appetizers, the burger had an awesome smoky flavor. Very popular place in Corpus!

Update to original review: Our group of 25 had quite a lunch celebration planned, though it didn’t start the way we expected. The night before, Ol’ Steakhouse told us they “don’t take reservations” and to just come in. When we arrived, they refused to seat us because our group was “too big.” Their loss—about $650 worth, to be exact. In hindsight, they actually did us a favor.
We drove over to U&I Restaurant, hoping for the best—and they blew us away. Despite walking in with a party of 25 during a busy lunch, U&I seated us within five minutes. No drama. No eye-rolling. Just warm hospitality and a “we’ve got you” attitude that immediately set the tone for the night.
If you love Ol’ Steakhouse, but they can’t accommodate your party, give U&I a try.

Wonderful place to eat and talk. Only issue waa the mail room was like a meat locker. But they moved us to the other section without issues. Shared the big bone in steak with my wife and still had leftovers.

I took my Mom out for dinner on a Saturday night. There was like a 20-25 minute wait. Boy am I glad we decided to wait. We both ordered the 6 Oz steak with 2 sides. First off the service was awesome. My mother got the soup of the day with her order. She said the cream of potato soup was delicious. Our salads were crisp and fresh. I love the green goddess dressing. Not to many places offer it. Our medium rare steaks were cooked to perfection. It gets to your table and they ask you to slice into your steak just to make sure it was made to your liking. You also get rolls and butter. Im so happy we chose this place. I’ve been here before and ordered the fried fish plate which was also good. I’ve also had their delicious chicken fried steak. But that night im glad we chose the steak. It was so juicy and tender. I would definitely come again. A meal for two on a Saturday for just $40 before tip was an awesome deal. I will definitely be bringing my Mom back.

I wanted the Ol Ribeye but they were sold out, I can’t wait to try it on my next visit!
I had to order the silver ribeye steak and it did not disappoint at all! I posted before and after pictures of how much I enjoyed my steak that I ate every single bite.

Everything was fantastic. The chicken had so much flavor and wasn’t dry or tough. Fried mushrooms were good too. Hot and not greasy. Will definitely be back. This place was CLEAN. And every single staff member was moving. Nobody was standing around or on their phones. All staff was attentive and working.
